The graduating class, consisting of 48 members is divided into groups with different themes. They are given freedom to conceptualize to their chosen theme and have selected a category whether it be haute couture, sportswear, or artful lingerie to construct their garments.

PATRIOTIC

An homage to the peacekeepers of the world. Gaining inspiration from the military uniforms of different nations, this batch will demand attention with their own versions of fashion warriors.

Designers play around their sci-fi fantasies and produce collections that are technologically advanced. Mechanics, new materials and modern techniques are used to construct the garments.

A modern take on boho style. The designers turn the true essence of bohemian culture and infuse modern silhouettes and technique for an ensemble that is truly contemporary.

FUSION

A melting pot of influences; the yin and yang of fashion. A free range theme that shows the limitless source of inspiration of a true artisan. Mixing two contradicting elements is the challenge for each designer to come up with a unique collection of their own.

AFROCENTRIC

Feel what it is like to live in Africa and experience the wide array of wildlife. The designers will present garments in tribal theme, a mix of ethnic prints, animal skins and elements of the jungle.
