Considered The Royal and Pontifical University and the Catholic University of the Philippines, the University of Santo Tomas commonly referred to as UST, was established in 1611 by the Dominican friars. The university houses different faculties that deliver quality education among the Filipino youth both in the natural and social sciences.

The university offers an M.A. in Political Science and a PhD program in Political Science as well created to develop individuals to be logically inclined and quality country leaders of their field. It hopes to be the beacon of excellence through its well-curated political science programs.

Located on the northern coast island of Borneo in Southeast Asia, Brunei is one of the few countries that caters to monarchy and the only one in Asia.

Having gained independence from the British in 1984, Brunei as an ASEAN member-state caters to its Malay ethnic groups and Chinese decency. Its dominant languages are Malay, English, and Chinese. While Chinese influence is rich in the country, the people of Brunei have Islam as its main source of values and religious beliefs.

Like any other SEA countries, Brunei finds its uniqueness in cultural diversity.
