There is a new affiliate organization in the Mixed Methods International Research Association (MMIRA). President Dr Peggy Shannon-Baker said MMIRA just approved the application of the Philippine Association of Mixed Methods Researchers and Emergent Scholars (PAMMRES) as a MMIRA affiliate. Dr Shannon-Baker made the announcement at the Asia Regional Conference of MMIRA in Tokyo.

💡Halo-Halo 2: Day 2 Highlights
The final day of Halo-Halo 2: The Filipino Mixed Methods Fair was a thrilling conclusion! It kicked off with rapid-fire poster presentations where participants shared studies and received peer feedback to build our mixed methods community. Next, Mixed Methods Tryst 2 facilitated pitching research ideas and seeking collaborations. The day concluded with a compelling plenary by Mr. Vijayendra Rao, a Lead Economist of the World Bank, on confronting development realities the "mixed methods way."

💡Halo-Halo 2: Day 1 Highlights
Day 1 of Halo-Halo 2: The Filipino Mixed Methods Fair wrapped up with insightful discussions!
Cheryl Poth and Edward Cartwright shared methodological lessons on "mixing" for non-quantitative/qualitative researchers. Jeremaiah M. Opiniano offered guidance on designing mixed methods projects, followed by a "Mixed Methods Tryst" for idea incubation. The day concluded with Judith Schoonenboom's intriguing talk on meta-inference and conquering research fears.
