Arellano University (OCD) in partnership with Million Trees Foundation Inc. (MTFI) launched the Bambusetum Project at La Mesa Watershed, Quezon City in August 13, 2024. Student Volunteers, Officers of AU Supreme Student Council, and AU Nursing Society Officers, faculty and NTP, AU Legarda Campus participated in the bamboo planting.

𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒆𝒓𝒂 𝒊𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍! 𝑯𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒘𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒃𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆.

Various students together with the AUSSC were able to exercise their green thumb in partnership with OSA and Million Trees Foundation Incorporated. Presidents from AUP, GEMs, AUNS, TSM, and JPPhA-AU, as well as officers from TA, SIKLAB, JPSAU, AFO, and RAC - AU are truly leading by example as they partake in the said activity.

The outmost gratitude is given to the Community Development Office of Arellano University for having the initiative for these kind of activities.

We’re thrilled to have partnered with Arellano University (Official) Office for Community Development to launch the Bambusetum, successfully planted 16 different bamboo species at La Mesa Watershed! 🌱

A heartfelt thanks to Ma'am Elrem Pena and the new Green Army Brigade students of Arellano University for their incredible dedication to sustainable development and climate action. Together, we’re making a real difference! 🌍💚
