On June 13, 2000, Holy Heart Christian Academy opened its doors to its first batch consisting of 120 pre-elementary and elementary school students for school year 2000-2001. Lacar was appointed as first principal. Mrs Aurora Big-asan was elected as the first president of the HHCA Parent- Teacher Association. re- Elementary School Department (Nursery and preparatory to Grade 1) and Elementary School Department. HHCA graduated 20 students at Pope Pius XII Center Auditorium located at the United Nations Avenue, Ermita, Manila. Kathryn Charmaine R. Arquiza was the first Grade School valedictorian of HHCA. In School Year 2002-2003.HHCA opened its High School Department. When the enrollment increased, the school administration decided to transfer the High School Department to 1957 Juan Luna Street, Tondo Manila. On March 30, 2005, the school held its first Commencement Exercises and Awarding Rites for its 24 High School graduating students at the San Lazaro Amphitheater, DOH Complex, Avenida Rizal, Manila with Chiara Mei S. Liwanag as the first High School valedictorian. The graduation rites for the succeeding years from 2006-2009 were held at the UST College of Education Auditorium, EspaƱa, Manila. The commitment, dedication and combine efforts of the administration, faculty, and service personnel paid off. The Department of Education granted the Government Recognition of the Nursery Kindergarten Courses and Complete
Elementary Course to Holy Heart Christian Academy effective School Year 2003-2004. Another Government Recognition was granted by the department of Education to HHCA for the Complete Secondary Course effective School Year 2006-2007. In the School Year 2014-2015, Mr. Camacho assumed the office of the president and organized a team to prepare a five-year development plan (in line with the implementation of K to 12 by the Department of Education), to further provide quality education, to upgrade the existing facilities and to create a more healthy environment for students and HHCA teaching and non-teaching personnel. HHCA continues to make its presence be felt in its surrounding community as well as in other schools, both public and private, through its programs and activities. The administration believes that Holy Heart Christian Academy was born out of its quest for excellence in education. Therefore it is firmly committed in pursuing this mission, anchored in its firm belief with the help of Almighty God.
