UST Main Building

This unique and impressive structure is a famous landmark in the City of Manila. It was designed by the Dominican priest and engineer, Fr. Roque Ruaño, O.P.

Declared by the National Museum as a National Cultural Treasure together with other 3 campus structures namely the UST Chapel, Arch of the Centuries and the Central Seminary. and was completed on July 2, 1927. The 35 Popes Witnessed by the University of Santo Tomas

The University of Santo Tomas in Manila (est. 1611) is one of the oldest and most enduring institutions in the Far East. As a Pontifical University, the Pope is technically its highest official. Since its foundation, it has witnessed a total of 35 popes, from Paul V to Leo XIV.
