Nakatuon sa temang “Together4Teachers,” ating ipagdiwang at kilalanin ang husay at walang katumbas na dedikasyon ng mga Pilipinong g**o na pangunahing katuwang ng DepEd sa pagtataguyod ng dekalidad na edukasyon para sa lahat ng mga mag-aaral.

Makiisa sa pagbubukas ng NTM2024 ngayong araw, panoorin ang livestream ng Kick-Off Program sa DepEd Philippines official website, page, at YouTube Channel.

Kasalukuyang pinagiingat ng Kagawaran ng Kalusugan (DOH) ang lahat higit lalo ang mga residenteng malapit sa Bulkang Taal dahil sa mataas na antas ng sulfur dioxide emission mula dito na nagdudulot ng volcanic smog o vog.

Ang usok o VOG ay masama sa kalusugan na maaring magdulot ng iritasyon sa mga mata, lalamunan at respiratory tract na maaring maging malubha depende sa konsentrasyon o tagal ng pagkalanghap.

Maging handa at alamin ang pinakabagong update sa lagay ng Bulkan. Ligtas ang Pamilyang Alerto.

Ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ay nakikiisa sa paggunita ngayong araw, Agosto 9, ng Pandaigdigang Araw ng mga Katutubo, sa ilalim ng lokal na tema na "Katutubong Edukasyon ay patuloy na palakasin; Pangkulturang Integridad isulong at patatagin."

Bilang ahensya na nagtataguyod ng inklusibong edukasyon, kinikilala ng Kagawaran ang karapatan ng mga katutubong pamayanan sa isang edukasyon na tumutugon sa kanilang konteksto, may respeto sa kanilang pagkakakilanlan, at nagtataguyod sa kahalagahan ng kanilang katutubong sistema ng kaalaman, kakayahan, at iba pang aspeto ng kanilang kulturang pamana.

Sa patuloy na pagsasalin ng mga katutubong kultura at kaalaman sa susunod na henerasyon sa pamamagitan ng edukasyon, tumitibay ang pundasyon ng pangkulturang integridad ng mga katutubong pamayanan.

Ang mga ito ang ambag ng Kagawaran sa pandaigdigang panawagan para sa pagkilala sa karapatan ng mga katutubong pamayanan.
