Last February 22, 2026, the sisters and brothers of UP Manila Alpha Phi Omega Sorority and Fraternity, together with Liwanag at Dunong, spent a meaningful day at Sitio Kalangitan, Capas, Tarlac. The residents shared learning sessions and gifted school supplies with Aeta learners ๐โจ, listened to their stories ๐ค, and walked through a community that welcomed us with openness and warmth.
More than lessons taught, this was a day of exchange, solidarity, and grounding ourselves in the realities of the communities we hope to serve. ๐ค
Huge thanks to everyone who made this service possible: Our alumni sisters and brothers for their utmost support, Liwanag at Dunong for the opportunity and trust, and of course, to the Aeta Community of Tarlac who welcomed us wholeheartedly. Your smiles and laughter will forever be ingrained in our hearts.
To more initiatives reflecting a dedication to services that combine theory and practice.
May We Always Be! ๐๐
