The Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Health Research and Development strongly support and adopts the theme "Sama-samang magtulungan upang pigilan ang antimicrobial resistance" for the annual Philippine Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week (PAAW), aligned with the World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW).

With this, we encourage our partners and other stakeholders in various sectors to raise awareness about AMR, promote best practices, and recognize their roles in preventing unintended long-term effects and pandemic/outbreaks caused by these AMR pathogens.
