Si Prop. Legazpi ay ang Director IV ng Office of Student Development and Services (OSDS) at ang Chairperson ng CHED Gender and Development Office (GAD) Focal Committee.

Mrs. Aylin Doloricon-Zabski, BSE-English Batch 1990, alongside her daughters, recently visited Inang Pamantasan to relive cherished memories and celebrate her connection to PNU.

In a gesture of gratitude and love, she generously donated a bench to the Alumni Park, creating a new space for reflection and connection. Thank you for your enduring support and dedication to our PNU community!

Ms. Veronica Macabalo Saddul & Ms. Bienvenida Aveño Gruta of PNC Batch 1974 returned to their beloved Inang Pamantasan to visit, reminisce, and reconnect with the memories that shaped their journey.

As a heartfelt gesture, they generously donated a bench to the Alumni Park, symbolizing their enduring legacy and love for PNU. This bench will stand as a place of reflection and connection for all who walk through our campus. Thank you, Batch '74!

Pagbati sa lahat ng PNUans na matagumpay na nakapasa sa nakaraang Agosto 2024 Psychologist Computer-based Licensure Examination.

Lahat ng apat na kumuha ng pagsusulit mula sa PNU ay nakapasa, kaya nakamit ng PNU ang 100% ng pagpasa sa nasabing pagsusulit.

Ang mga nasabing PNUans na nagbigay karangalan sa Pamantasan ay sina Juvilee Ann Ausa, RPsy, Bianca Camille Banog, RPsy, Jerryl Apolonia-Lofamia, RPsy, at Rodolfo Del Rosario, RPsy.

Mabuhay ang mga bagong sikolohista mula sa Inang Pamantasan.

Binigyang pagkilala ng Inang Pamantasan ang mga indibidwal na nanguna sa mga katatapos lang na Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) sa nakaraang Pagpupugay sa Kahusayan na ginanap noong Sabado, ika-10 ng Agosto 2024. Ang nasabing programa ay parte ng Pagdiriwang ng Sulo na may temang “Pagtugon sa Kasalukuyang mga Hamon sa Pagtuturo sa Pamamagitan ng Makabuluhang Edukasyong Handa sa Kinabukasan”.

Mr. Tito M. Tejada is a distinguished professional with significant achievements in both education and financial management. Due to his robust academic foundation, he embodies dedication, versatility, and leadership. Mr. Tejada earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the Philippine Normal College in 1970, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Far Eastern University in 1980. His commitment to further education is evidenced by his Master of Arts in Administration and Supervision, equipping him with essential leadership skills.

In his diverse career, Mr. Tejada has held pivotal roles. In education, he has influenced numerous students and colleagues, fostering a culture of learning and development. His financial management experience includes positions such as Assistant Controller at The Westin Stamford Hotel, Controller at Sheraton Tara Hyannis Hotel and Sheraton Waterbury Hotel, and Regional Controller at Shelton and Norwalk Hilton. His leadership was further recognized in his roles as Director of Finance at Algonquin Marriott Hotel and Acting General Manager.

Mr. Tejada’s contributions have been acknowledged through several prestigious awards. These include Intermediate Teacher of the Year from Kapisanan ng mga Magulang, G**o, at Pamayanan ng Tondo, Employee of the Year at Sheraton Stamford Hotel, and Manager of the Year at The Westin Stamford Hotel. His community recognitions include Outstanding Aklanon awards from the Aklan Association of Eastern Seaboard and the Kalibo Ati-Atihan Association in New York City, as well as a Couple Awardee at the Philippine Normal University Alumni Homecoming.

Overall, Mr. Tito M. Tejada continues to exemplify excellence in his professional endeavors. His diverse expertise and unwavering commitment to both education and financial management serve as an inspiration to future generations, demonstrating the impact one individual can have across multiple fields.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved alumna, Paulina "Lina" Santos, from the Philippine Normal College Class of 1966.

We are especially grateful for her pivotal role in the Gazebo project, which now serves as a cherished outdoor learning space at our Alma Mater. Her commitment to improving the lives of future generations of students is a lasting testament to her generosity and vision.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Lina's family during this difficult time. We pray for her journey to Eternity and for the strength and comfort of her loved ones.

We are honored to announce the visit of our esteemed alumnus and one of the recipients of Gawad Sulo for Eminent Alumni 2023, Rev. Fr. Raymond H. Ruga, Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Social Science, Batch 1991. Joining him were the distinguished principals and parochial from the Apostolic Vicariate of Calapan Parochial Schools (AVCPS) in Oriental Mindoro.

During this memorable visit, Fr. Ruga made a generous contribution by sponsoring a tile in our Alumni Park. This act of kindness not only honors his time with us but also supports the continuous development of our beloved institution.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱

Philippine Normal University celebrated the opening of new outdoor learning spaces at the PNU Quadrangle. These spaces, donated by PNC Batch 1966 and Ms. Erlinda Reyes Stone, are intended for students, faculty, and staff to gather and learn in an open environment. The inauguration included a ceremonial blessing and ribbon-cutting, with university officials, alumni, and students in attendance. Distinguished guests included former PNU President Atty. Lutgardo Barbo and former PNU Global Alumni Association President Dr. Rudy Bernardo. The university also unveiled plans for additional future campus improvements.

The PNUGAA 2024 Reunion is set to take place on October 6-7, 2024, at The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. This year's theme is "Empowering Educators Across Borders: Uniting the World Through Teaching Excellence and Scholarships - PNUGAA’s Commitment to Success."

The reunion will focus on celebrating the contributions of educators from around the world, fostering global unity, and promoting excellence in education and scholarships. It will feature insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and much more.

We are delighted to recount the heartwarming visit of Merlita Antolin-Hicks, an alumna from the Batch of 1994 (AB/BSE English). Her return to Inang Pamantasan was a journey back to cherished memories and a celebration of her lasting bond with our university.

Mrs. Hicks visited with her family and also purchased a PNU shirt as a souvenir to take back with her to the States.
