🔺 UNVEILING OF A MASONIC OBELISK | SILAY CITY, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL 🔺

A meaningful and historic gathering took place in Silay City, Negros Occidental, with the unveiling of a Masonic Obelisk, symbolizing the enduring principles of Brotherly love, relief and truth, exemplifying the timeless values of Freemasonry.

The event was headed by VW Ian Hinolan, District Deputy Grand Master of Masonic District Region VI – Negros Island

In attendance were:

MW Robert Joseph Moran – Grand Master
RW Ruel Rivera – Deputy Grand Master
RW Oliver Ko – Senior Grand Warden
RW Hossain Shamsoddin Vostakalaei – Junior Grand Warden

Together with other Grand Line Officers, District Officers, Worshipful Masters, and brethren from different districts, the occasion celebrated the spirit of Masonic brotherhood and the continuing legacy of the Craft.

May this obelisk stand as a lasting reminder of our commitment to the craft, inspiring generations of Masons to come.

A meaningful gathering of Brotherhood, Camaraderie and Fellowship was successfully concluded on September 19, 2026, at L’Fisher Hotel, Bacolod City.

The Event was honored by the presence of MW Robert Joseph S. Moran, Jr., Guest of Honor and Speaker, accompanied by RW Ruel Rivera, RW Oliver Ko, RW Hossain Shamsoddin Vostakalaei, and MW Raul Canon, Jr. along with other Grand line Officers

Today, we honor the selfless men and women whose courage, sacrifice, and perseverance helped shape our nation and secure the liberties we enjoy today.

As beneficiaries of their struggles, we are called to continue their work by helping build a more harmonious, unified, and compassionate society for all Filipinos.

As Masons, may the Light we receive guide us in becoming better men within our families, workplaces, and communities. Let Temperance chasten our desires, Fortitude support our convictions, Prudence direct our thoughts, and Justice guide our actions.

May we honor our heroes not only through remembrance, but through sincere and selfless labor for the good of others. With the grace of the Great Architect of the Universe, may we continue building a better nation and world for our youth and future generations.

Today, we commemorate the birth anniversary of our Brother and National Hero, Marcelo H. Del Pilar, the “Father of Philippine Masonry,” whose life and labors helped shape the birth of our nation.

Brother Del Pilar believed that Freemasonry could help transform an oppressed colony into an independent, dignified, and united nation. Through Masonic ideals of reason, equality, and mutual respect, Filipino reformers learned to see one another not as members of separate regions, but as brothers bound by a shared national purpose.

His writings and actions inspired courage, unity, and the pursuit of freedom and justice. His life reminds us that true Masonry is not measured by words, titles, or ceremonies alone, but by the character we build and the lives we touch.

May we honor Brother Del Pilar by continuing our labors as better Masons, working with the guidance of the Great Creator to help build the nation he envisioned for all Filipinos.
