Today, we honor the birth anniversary of our Past Grand Master and Philippine President, Manuel L. Quezon, whose leadership reminds us that true progress is possible when power is guided by duty, humility, and unity.

MW Quezon’s role in the 1917 union of Lodges stands as a lasting example of Masonic brotherhood. Together with MW William H. Taylor, he helped bring harmony within our jurisdiction, choosing fraternity over division and magnanimity over control.

His words remind us that a Filipino government, however imperfect, can always be improved. In the same spirit, every Mason is called to improve himself and serve others with greater purpose.

May we continue to square our actions, act on the level, and rectify our character by the plumb. With Temperance, Fortitude, Prudence, and Justice as our guide, may the Great Architect of the Universe help us become better Masons and better men.
