The University of the East extends its warmest congratulations to 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗴, 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗕 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗘 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 (𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟮), on his appointment as 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿-𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 with the rank of Undersecretary of the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗣𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗖).

Dr. Dannug, fondly known as Usec. Manny, was also a member of UE Kapit-Bisig and a student leader during his college years in the early 1980s, serving as Chair of the UE Bureau of Organized Students (BOS).

Bringing extensive academic and institutional expertise in the Philippine Constitution, public administration, and political systems, Dr. Dannug is poised to contribute meaningfully to NAPC's efforts in advancing the interests and welfare of the basic sectors and local government units.

He took his oath of office before Executive Secretary Ralph Recto on August 11, 2026.

Congratulations, Dr. Roman Dannug! UE is proud to see one of its distinguished alumni continue to serve the nation and contribute to meaningful public service.

𝗨𝗘 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝗜𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗽

The proposed collaboration includes seminars on Climate Change, Circularity and Sustainability, and Student Values Formation, marking the launch of UE's SDG Global Roadmap Readiness Plan.

The initiative reinforces UE's commitment to integrating sustainability into academic programs, institutional initiatives, and community engagement while preparing students to become globally responsible citizens.

Tunghayan ang UE Silanganan Dance Troupe sa ANDRES K*K, isang produksiyon ni Direktor Generoso Caringal na nagsasalin ng buhay, paninindigan, at pamana ni Andres Bonifacio sa pamamagitan ng sayaw. Damhin ang isang makapangyarihang pagtatanghal na muling magbibigay-buhay sa kasaysayan at magpapaalala na ang kanyang mga adhikain ay patuloy na nagbibigay-inspirasyon sa bawat salinlahi!

𝗔 𝗣𝗢𝗗𝗜𝗨𝗠 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗛 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗨𝗘 𝗠𝗘𝗡'𝗦 𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗞𝗘𝗧𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠!

The UE Men’s Basketball Team wrapped up the 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 with a 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗲 finish, closing the competition on a winning note against the University of the Visayas.

Leading the charge was 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁, who exploded for 24 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 steals to claim 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲. Rookies 𝗝𝗠 𝗘𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗸𝗼𝘂 and 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗫𝘆𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗼 added 14 and 11 points, respectively, to help secure the bronze.

A strong finish and valuable experience as the team continues its preparation for the season ahead!

Uniform exemption for freshmen of both Manila and Caloocan Campuses is extended up to August 28, 2026. Students are required to wear their UE ID upon entry and to wear it at all times while inside the campus.
