The Technological University of the Philippines ROTC Corps of Lady Sponsors successfully participated in the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026, held on 10 May 2026. This significant occasion showcased not only the discipline and unity of the ROTC community but also the unwavering dedication and strength of the Corps of Lady Sponsors, who continue to uphold their duties with pride and excellence.

Serving as masters of ceremony for the program were Ms. Margarette C. Vibes and Ms. Janae Elisha N. Tabilisma from Class NATORED, who exhibited professionalism, confidence, and excellence in carrying out their duties. COL GERALD L MONFORT GSC (INF) PA, RAATI 2026 Chairman, along with his inspection team, conducted the evaluation and assessment of cadets through various exercises and simulations. The inspection covered administration, drills, technical skills, emergency response, and academic evaluation.

This year, the Corps of Lady Sponsors proudly represented the unit in several evaluated activities. C/PVT JAMILA REGINA E CAPORAL 4CL showcased her skill in the M16 Rifle Assembly and Disassembly. Her commendable performance reflects not only her individual dedication but also the collective values of leadership, discipline, and commitment that define the Corps.

The success of RAATI 2026 was the result of hard work, preparation, and teamwork. Every cadet, sponsor, and leader gave their best effort to ensure the inspection was carried out with discipline and excellence. This accomplishment stands as proof of what can be achieved when we unite with purpose and determination. The proud legacy of the TUP ROTC Unit continuesโ€”rooted in honor, strengthened by discipline, and carried forward with excellence.

On the same date, the Corps of Lady Sponsors successfully participated in the NSTP Preโ€‘Mobilization Training at TUP Cavite, organized by the Rescue 177 Corps Instructors Mobile Team. Here, they further demonstrated their discipline, teamwork, and readiness in disaster response and safety, proving their versatility and commitment to service.

The Corps of Lady Sponsors extends its deepest appreciation to LTC OMAR H HASSAN (ART) PA, Commandant, for his steadfast leadership and unwavering support; to the Training Staff for their tireless dedication and guidance; to Ms. Ruzzel S. Argana, Dean of Sponsors, for her continuous encouragement and commitment; and to C/COL ALBERT T DOMINGO 1CL, Corps Commander, for his discipline and invaluable assistance, all of which greatly contributed to the orderly and successful conduct of the training.

The Technological University of the Philippines ROTC Corps of Lady Sponsors successfully conducted its 12th Training Day on 26 April 2026.

The training formally began with a welcoming introduction led by C/PVT APRIL JANE M JAMAC 4CL and C/PVT AIRA MAE A MAGAN 4CL, followed by a prayer led by C/PVT PRINCESS MARGARETTE R LUGATIMAN 4CL. The program continued with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the recitation of the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas led by C/PVT NICOLE MITTS E BALOJA 4CL, and the Panunumpa sa Bagong Pilipinas led by C/PVT MA. ANGELA TAMBA 4CL, setting a respectful and patriotic tone for the day. To keep everyone energized and attentive, the Junior Lady Sponsors opened the day by leading the morning energizer, uplifting the spirit of the corps, and setting a vibrant tone of energy and enthusiasm for the activities ahead. Following the opening ceremony, Prof. Reggie C. Campomanes, NSTP Director, highlighted discipline and responsibility as essential values that every trainee is expected to have.

The Junior Lady Sponsors then attended a series of lectures at TUP Court B. The first lecture, Map Reading 1, was delivered by Sgt Jeffrey L Delos Angeles (Inf) PA, equipping cadets with the vital skill of interpreting military mapsโ€”enabling them to navigate terrain, plot strategic routes, and make sound tactical decisions essential for leadership, field operations, and RAATI inspections. It combines technical knowledge (symbols, grids, and scales) with practical application under pressure. To conclude the day, Sgt Jicky G Estuye PA (Res) led the Practical Drills lecture, focusing on hands-on training exercises that teach cadets discipline, precision, and teamwork through military movements such as marching, facing, formations, and the manual of arms. These drills simulate real military routines, preparing cadets for inspections, parades, and tactical operations.

After the lecture, the sponsorsโ€™ training continued as the Junior Lady Sponsors proceeded to the front of the DMST Office for their gala training. The session focused on refining their posture, elegance, and confidenceโ€”qualities essential to reflect the elegance and leadership inherent in the role of a Lady Sponsor. They also worked on enhancing their stage presence, ensuring they carried themselves with dignity and grace in preparation for the upcoming Presentation of Sponsors. Sincere thanks are also extended to Ms. Margarette C. Vibes, current Corps Lady Sponsor, for her guidance and support in facilitating the Junior Lady Sponsorsโ€™ training, marking a memorable conclusion to the successful 12th day of training.
