To our 𝗣𝗟𝗠 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, and to all Bar aspirants across the country, may you face this day with courage, confidence, and faith in all the hard work that brought you here.

The 𝗣𝗟𝗠 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗖𝗟𝗦𝗖) respectfully issues this statement in the spirit of transparency, principled inquiry, and responsible student representation.

We recognize the authority of the appropriate University bodies and the Legal Education Board in matters concerning honorary degrees, while affirming the importance of transparency, academic integrity, and informed dialogue within our academic community.

We encourage the PLM community to approach this matter with respect and reason, and to keep the discourse grounded in truth and fairness.

In accordance with the recommendation of the Office of the President, classes at all levels in both public and private schools in the City of Manila are suspended today, Friday, August 28, 2026, due to inclement weather brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), enhanced by a typhoon outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The PLM College of Law Student Council reminds everyone to prioritize their safety, well-being, and preparedness amid the prevailing weather conditions.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT

Good morning, Haribons!

Please be advised that, pursuant to the recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private schools in the City of Manila are suspended on Friday, August 28, 2026.

This suspension is due to inclement weather brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), enhanced by a typhoon outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

All schools are advised to shift to Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM).

Haribons, please prioritize your safety and well-being.
