We proudly introduce 𝗘𝗻𝗣 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗔. 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀, Deputy Executive Director of the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐎, as the Opening Keynote Speaker of AYLA 2025.

With over 25 years of distinguished service in the Philippine Government, including key roles in Malacañang, the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council, and UNESCO, EnP Barrientos brings a wealth of experience in policy development, international diplomacy, and sustainable planning. She has represented the Philippines in UNESCO’s General Conference and Executive Board, contributed to global cultural networks, and leads national efforts in marine sciences, biosphere reserves, lifelong learning, and gender advocacy.

In her keynote, “𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬: 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩,” EnP Barrientos will challenge delegates to embrace their dual roles as national ambassadors and regional changemakers. She will affirm youth as the driving force behind ASEAN’s integration journey, calling for visionary leadership rooted in empathy, collaboration, and shared identity.

Even with the rainy season setting in, JTHA kept the spirit of summer alive. ☀️🌧️

Our first General Assembly, “The Endless Summer,” held last October 15, 2025, from 1–3 PM at F&B Simulation Room, St. Ottilien Building, was a wonderful gathering filled with joy, connection, and shared memories. 💙

Thank you to everyone who attended and took part in this meaningful event. We truly hope you enjoyed our small gesture of appreciation through the giveaways. Here’s to more moments that remind us that summer never truly ends when we’re together. 🌊✨
