Congratulations to the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧’𝐬 debate team at PASiklaban 2026: Ikalawang Yugto, with this year’s theme being “Soaring Minds, Shaping Tomorrow,”.

The 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧’𝐬 debate team and spearheaded by 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 and was led by captain 𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐫, with 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐢𝐨𝐣𝐨, 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞, and team member 𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐃𝐞 𝐎𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨, who stepped up as the team’s substitute while contributing to the group’s overall preparation and coordination. Together, the team demonstrated what happens when preparation meets poise. They were guided by head coach 𝐑𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐳, and assistant coaches 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐫 and 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐲, whose mentorship turned raw talent into strategic excellence.

Debate is often mistaken for mere argument, but at its core, it is a structured exchange where opposing sides persuade an impartial audience through evidence rather than volume. In this sense, it is governance in miniature: both disciplines demand that we move beyond personal opinion to construct cases rooted in logic and public interest, reminding us that true authority comes not from dominance, but from clarity.

This victory was not merely a result of louder voices, but of sharper minds. It reflects the discipline to listen before speaking, the courage to dismantle complex arguments, and the grace to hold ground under pressure. Debate, after all, is the practice of governance in miniature: where conviction meets structure, and where every word must carry weight.

Standing firm against six other universities: UDM, TCU, EARIST, PUP QC, and Mandaluyong Technological University. The team did not just compete, they commanded the stage. Their oratory prowess, rhetorical excellence, and rigorous argumentation proved that true royalty on the podium isn’t about wearing a crown. It’s about wearing your logic like armor.

We are proud to see CPA represented with such integrity, intellect, and fire.

The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila Supreme Student Council (PLM SSC) is currently conducting a survey in relation to the call for Student Regent representation within the university.

This initiative aims to gather the insights, opinions, and collective stand of the student body regarding the importance of having a formal student voice in the highest level of university governance. The Student Regent serves as a key representation that ensures students are actively involved in shaping decisions that affect their academic experience, welfare, and overall interests.

We observe this day not merely as a break from routine, but as a reminder that progress is rarely given; it is built through unwavering solidarity.

On April 30, 2026, the closing of the Second Semester Intramurals will commence at the Raja Sulayman Gymnasium at exactly 12:00 NN. As the College of Public Administration sends its contingents to the Street Dance Competition, we, the College of Public Administration - Student Council, humbly request the students of our college to extend their fullest support.

Students who have classes during the aforementioned time may attend the event, as an official excuse letter will be provided to BPA professors. Meanwhile, those who are free and have no prior commitments in the afternoon are highly encouraged to attend and support the program.

May this serve solely as an invitation, and let the attendance of our CPA Lions be left to their discretion.

Isang taos-pusong pagbati at pagpupugay sa bagong halal na Pangulo ng Supreme Student Council na mula sa Kolehiyo ng Pampublikong Pangangasiwa! ✨

Ang tagumpay na ito ay hindi lamang personal na panalo, kundi isang makasaysayang hakbang bilang kauna-unahang mag-aaral ng Public Administration na nahalal sa SSC. Mula sa pagiging Pangulo ng konseho ng ating kolehiyo isang patunay ito na ang sipag, dedikasyon, at tunay na hangaring maglingkod ay kayang magbukas ng mga pintuan at magbigay-inspirasyon sa marami.

Nawa’y patuloy mong isulong ang tapat at makabuluhang pamumuno. Patuloy din ang laban para sa mas inklusibo, makatarungan, at progresibong pamantasan.
