Beata Elementary School extends its heartfelt gratitude to ACCIONA-DMCI JV SCRP 02 for its generous donation of solar lights, helping improve lighting and create a safer and more conducive environment for our learners.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the efforts of our OIC Principal, Mrs. Mary Jane J. Banag, who initiated and advocated for the provision of additional solar lights for the school.

We sincerely thank DMCI for this valuable partnership and for supporting the welfare and learning of our pupils. Together, we continue to light the way toward a brighter future for our learners.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

: Upon recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), I am ordering the suspension of all classes in all levels in public and private schools on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, due to inclement weather brought about by the enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat).

According to the MCDRRMD, consistent weather models indicate moderate to heavy, at times intense rainfall expected throughout the day.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.
