Joshua 1:9
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Because…
Isaiah 60:22 (NIV)
“When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”
These two verses carried me, strengthened me, and kept me going all throughout my NCLEX journey.
I can say with all my heart:
God’s promise is true. His timing is perfect. And He made it happen.
My heart is still overflowing… I am still overwhelmed… and even as I write this, it still doesn’t feel real. But today, with tears in my eyes and gratitude overflowing from my soul, I can finally say the words I have prayed for, worked for, cried for, and sacrificed so much for:
I passed the NCLEX.
My NCLEX journey was far from easy. It was a path filled with delays, sacrifices, setbacks, and moments when giving up felt like the simplest choice. But today, I want to thank myself for not quitting. For holding on to my American dream even when it felt out of reach. For choosing to rise after every failure. For continuing the fight despite the doubts, the fears, and the long wait. I am proud of the strength I didn’t know I had.
First of all, Thank You, Lord!
Thank You for everything, for guiding me, sustaining me, lifting me whenever I felt like falling, and for reminding me that nothing is impossible with You. Every step of this journey, every fear I had to face, every sleepless night, every failure that pushed me to grow… You were with me.
All glory belongs to You, Lord.
To my FAMILY, I know no words will ever be enough! But from the deepest part of my heart, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!
Thank you for having my back always! Thank you for supporting me in every aspect all throughout my NCLEX journey! Emotionally, mentally, spiritually especially financially! Thank you for helping me without pressure, no questions asked, no complaints, no hesitation, always a YES for everything I need & just pure love and understanding. You made sure I was comfortable in everything during my review, making it easier for me to focus, study, and prepare. You never made me feel like a burden, not even for a moment. Instead, you made me feel loved, supported, and safe. Thank you for believing that I can make it, for encouraging me, for reassuring me that setbacks don’t define me. Thank you for giving me chance after chance, even after my failures! You never gave up on me, not once. I can say this with all my heart, I wouldn't be a USRN today if it weren't for all of your support. Everything I have achieved, everything I’ve become, and this dream that finally came true, you are a huge part of it. I will forever be grateful for you. This victory is ours!
To Dr. Ray Gapuz, thank you for selflessly sharing your unmatched knowledge and strategies. Your expertise in NCLEX is truly one of a kind, and your guidance strengthened not only my concepts but also my confidence. Thank you for inspiring us to keep going, to believe in our dreams, and to trust that all our sacrifices will have meaning in the end. Your passion and dedication played a huge role in helping me win this NCLEX battle.
To Ray A. Gapuz Review System (RAGRS) your platform was a huge help to me, especially for someone like me who has been out of practice for almost 8 years.
From the very beginning, the Comprehensive classes with the best mentors built a strong foundation of my nursing concepts. They didn’t just teach me to memorize, they helped me understand. Every discussion, rationale, and clarification strengthened my core knowledge and prepared me for higher–level thinking.
The 10-day Bootcamp was another game changer. It gave me not only a stronger grasp of the most important topics, but also the stamina and mental endurance I needed for the actual exam. It trained my mind to stay focused, think critically, and manage time wisely, just like in the real NCLEX setting.
The NCLEX 311, Pharmacology, and Nursing Reminder Sheets books were game changers in my NCLEX preparation. They helped me master essential concepts, simplify pharma, and quickly recall important nursing points. These resources boosted my confidence and played a huge role in helping me pass NCLEX with clarity and strength.
Lastly, the unlimited Quickfix sessions helped me to be well-prepared for my upcoming actual NCLEX exam. Sir Ray’s 3-day simplified concept lectures during Quickfix made a huge difference in my NCLEX prep. He turned complex topics into clear, easy-to-understand lessons and gave strategies that truly worked. His teaching boosted my confidence and strengthened my foundation in just three days. Also, the paper-based to computer-based test exams, answering questions, reviewing rationales, and repeatedly exposing myself to test scenarios, especially the simulator sessions with the “magic reseta” allowed me to experience what it really feels like to be in the actual NCLEX environment. These tools trained me to analyze questions better, choose the safest answers, and think like a USRN. All of these helped reduce my anxiety and increase my confidence and played a big role in how I was able to answer and pass NCLEX with confidence.
RAGRS is more than just a review center, it is a solid support system and a powerful training ground for future USRNs. I am truly grateful for everything I learned and experienced here.
To all RAGRS IT’s, staff thank you for all the help you gave, seen and unseen. Thank you for your patience, for accommodating us, for making our review sessions smooth, organized, and worry-free. You made a stressful journey more manageable.
To all my fellow nurse reviewers at RAGRS, thank you for becoming my family away from home. Studying far from home was one of the hardest parts, but you made it easier. Thank you for the laughter during breaks, the shared food, the group studies, the emotional support, the pep talks, the late eat-outs after review, and the bond we built. We came from different places, but during this journey, we became a family. You made reviewing feel less lonely and more hopeful. To those who are about to take the exam, please know you're all included in my prayers, and I BELIEVE YOU'RE ALL NEXT! PRAY, keep the FAITH, GO SLOW and keep FIGHTING!
And now, I understand something deeply:
Delays are not a hindrance to your dreams.
They are part of the story that prepares you, strengthens you, and shapes you.
I made it because I never stopped believing… and I never stopped fighting for the dream that was always meant for me.
My American dream is now within reach… and this is only the beginning.
This is God’s promise fulfilled.
This is the fruit of every sacrifice.
