Earlier today, the Community Extension Department (CED) team, led by CED Director, Michael John Maglaque and Community Organizer Jackielyn Ilustre, traveled to San Jose, Tarlac to conduct an on-site ocular visit in preparation for the upcoming CED and CAPA Rural Medical-Dental Mission at Barangay Maamot, San Jose, Tarlac.

Aside from the ocular inspection of the venue, the team also paid a courtesy call to San Jose, Tarlac Mayor Romeo G. Capitulo and Barangay Maamot Chairwoman Kapitana Rosemarie T. Viniegas to coordinate and discuss preparations for the activity.

The Rural Medical-Dental Mission is scheduled to take place on March 21, 2026 at the Covered Barangay Maamot Multi-Purpose Hall.

This initiative reflects the continuing commitment of the Community Extension Department and its partners to bring essential healthcare services closer to communities in need and strengthening its collaboration with local leaders and stakeholders.

Last Friday (March 6, 2026), the Community Extension Department and the I-Volunteer of the Senior High School Department gave the second batch of TULONG LETRANISTA to the San Agustin Parish in Intramuros for the Fire Victims of Intramuros.

We would like to sincerely thank the many generous people who donated the various necessities for the fire victims of the Brgy. 655.

The Sustainability Committee had its launch of the Sustainable Program and Initiatives at the Mabini Hall this afternoon, November 25, 2025 entitled Launching of E-Waste Program. It is being attended by students, faculty and administrators highlighting the collective role in promoting responsible decision-making, efficient resource management and meaningful community engagement.

The Letran Community Extension Department, the SHS Department and Herminigildo J. Atienza Elementary School had a MOU Contract Signing for the Numeracy & Literacy Tutorial Program.

Before the contract signing, the school representatives gave their messages - from Rev. Fr. Patricio P. Hiwatig, OP, Vice President for Religious Affairs, and both school principals, Ms. Geraldine C. Lagmay, MBIED for Letran SHS and Mr. Wilfredo C. Nillo for HJ Atieza Elementary School, with Mr. Michael John P. Maglaque, Director of Letran College, Manila - Community Extension Department, serving as program moderator.

The Letran team later visited HJAES, where Fr. Hiwatig had a brief yet meaningful meet-and-greet with their elementary students.
