大雄寶殿於民國六十四年奠基，由大師的慈悲為起點，感謝信徒們奉獻的誠心，感恩佛弟子們的護持，然而歷盡歲月之下，建物逐年老舊，在萬緣具足時，已於2024年12月封殿修繕。
此次上梁典禮期盼能帶來祝福及祈求工程順利、完善完工，接著在2026年的春天，將會迎來嶄新的大雄寶殿，也將迎向佛光山開山60周年，邁向全新的里程碑。
