Caption: Participation in civic engagement is the first step in becoming an empowered and engaged citizen. As part of their dedication to preserve the country's Walled City and bring about meaningful change in communities, tourism students took part in the Intramuros Administration's CleanTramuros program, which aligns with UNSDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. Civic participation provides our Escolarian students to take pride in their actions and exercise social responsibility towards active and informed citizens of the Filipino nation and the world.

Congratulations for the commendation as one of the Top 10 Best Research Papers in the recently concluded Joint 9th Tourism and Hospitality Annual Research Convention and 10th Annual Tourism and Hospitality Student Research Conference by the Philippine Association of Researchers for Tourism and Hospitality,Inc. (PARTH) last May 9-11,2024 in the Asian Institute of Tourism, University of the Philippines-Diliman.

The quartet team is composed of Lenard Garcia,Queencee Aim Sevilla,Bernalyn Marasigan & Shiela May Robles,headed by their research adviser, Junn B. Poloyapoy who presented their paper: Rethinking Urban Tourism: A Value-Based Heritage Conservation Approach Towards a Comprehensive Quiapo Heritage Zone Trail in the City of Manila.

Ten (10) 4th year 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 & 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 students of Centro Escolar University-Manila joined CHED 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗔𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (SIAP) in Halong Bay,Vietnam with long-time partner, 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘀 & 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 last February 12, 2024. The 3-month program aims to promote and provide students with competitive skills and attitudes for employment by applying the taught theories and knowledge in a real-world setting.
