Title: Embedding matrix algebras into ultragraph Leavitt path algebras and applications

Abstract: We provide a criteria for an ultragraph 𝐺 so that for any field 𝐾 and 𝑛 ≥ 1, the matrix algebra 𝘔𝘯(𝘒) is embedded in the associated Leavitt path algebra of 𝐺. This result, which has not appered in the context of Leavitt path algebras of graphs, is then applied to prove properties of Lie solvable and Lie nilpotent ultragraph Leavitt path algebras.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites the DLSU community to participate in the Women in Mathematics Film Festival 2026, a whole-day celebration honoring the achievements and contributions of women in mathematics through inspiring film screenings and interactive activities.
