Hey there, Metronistas! π
International Youth Day is commemorated every 12th of August to bring youth issues to the attention of the international community and celebrate the potential of youth as partners in today's global society.
The idea for International Youth Day was proposed in 1991 by the young people who were gathered in Vienna, Austria, for the first session of the World Youth Forum of the United Nations System. The forum recommended that an International Youth Day be declared, especially for fund raising and promotional purposes, to support the United Nations Youth Fund in partnership with youth organizations.
The theme for International Youth Day 2024 is "From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways For Sustainable Development." This theme highlights the key connection between digitalization and accelerating the progress of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emphasizing the crucial contributions of young people in this transformative process.

Hey there, Metronistas! π
There are an estimated 476 million indigenous people in the world living across 90 countries. They speak an overwhelming majority of the world's estimated 7,000 languages and represent 5,000 different cultures. Indigenous people have sought recognition of their identities, their way of life and their right to traditional lands, territories and natural resources for years.
In order to raise awareness of the needs of these population groups, every 9th of August commemorates the International Day of the World's Indigenous People, chosen in recognition of the first meeting of the UN Working Group on Indigenous Populations held in Geneva in 1982.
The International Day of the World's Indigenous People 2024 is focusing on "Protecting the Rights of Indigenous People in Voluntary Isolation and Initial Contact". Indigenous people in voluntary isolation and initial contact are the best protectors of the forest. Not only is their survival crucial to the protection of our planet, but it is crucial to the protection of cultural and linguistic diversity.
In today's hyper-connected world, the existence of Indigenous People in voluntary isolation and initial contact is a testament to the rich and complex tapestry of humanity.

Joy is the foundation of every good thing. It fuels hope, which in turn activates faith and paves the way for the miraculous. When you take on life with a stance of joy and thank fullness, it becomes evident- your joy will ignite a light within you that cannot be dimmed or hidden, attracting every perfect thing that has been planned and designed for you π€
Surrendering isn't the absence of fear; it's the courageous act of embracing uncertainty and still believing in the benevolent flow of life. It's the unwavering faith that, despite what obstacles come your way, you still trust that everything is unfolding as it should. It's the resilience to keep believing, despite reality not displaying any physical proof that you're on the right path. It's expressing gratitude even when you feel like you can't catch a break or when nothing seems to make sense π€
Every moment, decision, choice, encounter, mistake, lesson, and failure are the little dots that create the sum of your life. Each experience leads to the next, and although in the present moment, it may seem that everything is scattered all over the place, one day you will be able to connect the dots between each part of your life. When you do, you will realize that a life void of even just one of those dots would not have made you the person you are. Trust that everything happens as it should, in a way that is right for you. Maintain that faith, and you will experience the freedom you are seeking π€

Your higher power is always rooting for you, even when you are enduring hardships. These hardships often have a deeper purpose, and soon you will realize that they are simply the gateway to your biggest awakenings. When you deeply believe that the universe wants the best for you, you allow yourself to release control over how life unfolds. You allow yourself to surrender, unblock stagnant energy, and open your heart to what is meant for you. As a result, beautiful things will flow into your life out of nowhere, and you will feel awe and wonder knowing that you were always being guided and you will always be π€
Strive to live each moment of your life with purpose and dimension. You have the power to shape the kind of world you live in, and through every choice you make, you create the reality in which you exist. Remember, each day is an opportunity to create a life that you love. Take the time to understand the people you interact with. This will help you navigate life with more ease and purpose π€
You are a powerful and resilient individual capable of handling any challenges that come your way. Take a moment to pause and take a few deep breaths, allowing yourself to find a sense of calm and stillness before moving forward. Manifestation is not just about visualizing our desires; it's about envisioning the person we want to become, embodying their traits, and imagining the necessary steps to achieve our goals. We can turn our manifestations into reality by setting clear intentions, taking action, believing, and envisioning. Remember, the transformation we seek starts with a clear vision and the courage to take action towards it π€
Invite peace to guard you. By inviting peace, you create a safe space where it can surround you, forming a barrier against the worry and fear that can oppress and exhaust you throughout the day. As peace protects too, you can view everything in your day with hope and confidence, knowing that whatever challenges you encounter will work out in your favor π€
Autism is a lifelong neurological condition that manifests during early childhood, irrespective of gender, race or socio-economic status. It is mainly characterized by its unique social interaction, non-standard ways of learning, keen interests in specific subjects, inclination to routines, challenges in typical communications and particular ways of processing sensory information. The term Autism Spectrum refers to a range of characteristics. Appropriate support, accommodation and acceptance of this neurological variation allow those on the Spectrum to enjoy equal opportunity, and full and effective participation in society .
The United Nations General Assembly declared April 2 as World Autism Awareness Day to highlight the need to help improve the quality of life of those with autism so they can lead full and meaningful lives as an integral part of society.

The beauty of life is the pursuit of rediscovering the purpose that inherently lies within you. But instead of searching for it externally, you must look inward by getting to know yourself, as your purpose is integrated with what you are. It is deeply rooted in your passions, joys, desires, drive, and natural gifts. And it is only when you have clarity on your entire disposition that you can switch the path that you're on towards one that feels in alignment with the energy that you seek. When you match that frequency, it will open doors towards experiences that allow you to live in your human truth π€
Hey there, Metronistas π

All you need to aim for in this life is balance. Be fearless, but don't forget to slow down and enjoy the now. Be independent, but rely on others when you need support. A balanced life isn't a perfect or fragile one, but instead, it's harmonious- giving us the space, time, energy, and freedom for what truly matters π€
The greatest blessing in our lives is the ability to feel and experience every dimension and vibration of human emotion. There will be days when your heart feels heavy- loneliness, grief, anger, and sadness will overpower your mind and the way you experience your time. But then there will be days where your heart feels light- contentment, gratitude, bliss, joy, and peace will fill your private energy fields, you radiating externally. Despite the complexity and variation, you must understand that there is no hierarchy of feelings. There is only an unexpected understanding of their intensity that only you can endure. That intensity, regardless of where it falls on the spectrum, is proof that you are living a pure, raw, and unfiltered human experience π€
The step you take in each present moment is what your path will be composed of. You need to focus on this current phase you're experiencing and you have to give your utmost attention to each choice, decision, and action. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't have a clear direction of where you want to go, but that the current point in time is your primary focus and the place you hope to reach is secondary. You must continuously believe that the best days are ahead of you, while also realizing that there is only progress to be made π€
Embrace life's journey. We weren't designed to have all the answers or understand everything as it unfolds. We were not meant to know what happens tomorrow, or why yesterday's experiences were part of our life journey. Instead, our purpose is to be present and trust that we always are where we should be. We must continuously believe that the best days are ahead of us, while also realizing that there is only progress to be made π€
Hey there, Metronistas! π

The calming presence of peace will keep you steady- giving you the clarity to see beyond the realities you face and provide you with the vision to see the goodness that is about to unleash all around you. It's presence and power are matchless. So, invite peace in- clear the path with your words, and let peace come in and do what only it can do π€
Be vigilant of your journey- aware of what energy you're picking up and carrying with you. Be observant of the words that you speak and the conversations you take part in. Do they leave you discouraged or do they champion you to your goals? As dreamers, it's our job to make sure that we protect ourselves- fending off the negative so that we can carry on with strength to breathe life into our dreams π€
Run towards possibility. Filter everything that happens this week through the lens of joy- always look for the silver lining and what you can be thankful for. As you do, joy will smooth out the path in front of you and give you peace, hope, and faith for the future. Even amid uncertainty, joy will give you the strength to have unshakeable confidence that your work will flourish and create an impact in the world. So, take joy and run with a full heart toward possibilities. You were created for greatness π€

It also highlights the importance of empathy, understanding, and cooperation to create a more harmonious and caring world π€
Dream on and dream big, but don't worry how it'll happen. Daily progress will get you there. The present moment and our accomplishments are gifts we often take advantage of. Plan your future, but don't forget to enjoy where you are. Embark on grand adventures, but also participate in the little spontaneous moments in your daily life. They are the source of your biggest joys and fulfillment. Release and let go, but don't forget to acknowledge the lessons learned. Your past made you who you are today. Embrace your vulnerability, but don't overthink. Your emotional bravery will allow you to deepen your connections with others. Once you find the balance between it all, you will stumble upon serenity π€
