ABaKaDa was created from the belief that healthcare should never make people feel unheard. In partnership with the Guild of Thomasian Speducators, this initiative strengthens that belief by bridging communication gaps that often stand between care and understanding. Beyond clinical skills is something just as life-changing: the ability to communicate with compassion.

Through Filipino Sign Language (FSL) awareness and basic learning sessions, this initiative encourages future healthcare professionals to meet people halfway—to listen with their eyes, respond with their hands, and care beyond spoken language. 🤍

Did you know blood components have limited shelf lives? Platelets last only 5–7 days, while others like red blood cells and plasma require timely use. Because of this, hospitals rely on a continuous supply of voluntary donors since blood cannot be manufactured. 💭

Through HADaloy, in collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross - Caloocan Chapter, the UST SHS Health Allied Society strengthens its advocacy in promoting awareness on voluntary blood donation. ❤️‍🩹
