Spending time in silence, away from the noise of Mendiola, reminded me how loud God’s love can be; how encouraging it is. By providing an environment where I can talk to God without the usual pressure of exams and recitations, the sem 4 crash course gave me an oppurtunity to reconnect with God, strengthen my faith, and re-establish why it is I entered law school i the first place.

The Sem4 crash course was a very enlightening and enriching trip. However, out of all the activities that we did, I consider the talks given by the speakers and the intimate conversations with my batchmates to be very memorable. Prior to joining the sem4 crash course, I was restless and demotivated. The talks helped me reflect on my spirituality and on what I can do for myself and for others. I am also grateful that I was able to meet my batchmates and that we were able to confide in each other. There was comfort in speaking with a group of people who understood what I was going through. This trip helped me in making decisions for myself. If I didn’t join the trip, I wouldn’t be in a situation where I am now. And now, I am really at ease and happy. But the best thing that I got from this trip is that it deepened and strengthened my friendship with my Bukidnon roommate. God is good.
