The Academy for Professional Excellence in partnership with the Department of Tourism - Metro Manila conducted the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Training for Robinsons and Bellevue Hotels Frontline Personnel and Key Officers.
The learning sessions were facilitated by the guest FBSE speaker Mr. Gil Regondola and Ms. Annabelle Moreno. Both of them made their respective sessions educational and fun by creating activities, practical examples and relevant topics that the participants can immediately apply it to their job roles.
The DOT-NCR Regional Director Sharlene Zabala-Batin warmly joined the session and quoted some words of encouragement to everyone.

IN REVIEW: Kudos to the 1st batch of Mabuhay Accommodation Establishments Frontline Officers in the National Capital Region!
The learning event was officially opened by the DOT-NCR's Director Sharlene Zabala Batin emphasizing the critical role of Mabuhay Accommodation Establishments in enhancing the tourism competitiveness of the country. She also commended the different establishment owners, stakeholders and frontliners for their continued support to the endeavors of the DOT - National Capital Region.
The day 1 training workshop on the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence was facilitated by Mr. Charlie Garcia. He emphasized the importance on how to properly handle different types of customers and to consistently apply the Filipino Brand of Service.
The day 2 session became more interesting when resource speakers from the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) and Autism Society Philippines (ASP) talked about the Barrier-Free Tourism on how to assist guests that require specific types of service to make their travel experience smooth, inclusive and trouble-free.
Mr, Ivannovich Agote, the Supervising Tourism Operations Officer of DOT-NCR officially closed the program with the hope that it will help raise the standards of excellence in all our accommodation establishments in the country especially in the National Capital Region.

The DOT- National Capital Region through the Academy for Professional Excellence - APEX presents "The Filipino Brand of Service Excellence" and Barrier-Free Tourism Training. The 2-day training will focus to further enhance the tourism competitiveness of our frontline officers assigned in motels, inns, hostels, bed and breakfasts, guest houses, hostels, and other similar accommodation establishments.
The day 1 training workshop will enhance our frontline officers' personality, boost their confidence and provide them with necessary skills on how to properly handle customers and to consistently apply the Filipino Brand of Service.
The day 2 session will talk about the Barrier-Free Tourism that will guide our frontline officers on how to assist guests that require specific type and level of service to make their travel experience smooth, inclusive and trouble-free.
Through this training workshop, we will be able to help elevate the service standards and quality of Mabuhay Accommodation Establishments in the National Capital Region and make them at par with global standards.
