Vice President for External Relations and Internationalization, Prof. Dr. Anthony Shun Fung Chiu, served as a panel speaker at the Multi-Year Implementation Planning Workshop for the Transnational Higher Education (TNHE) National Strategy, held on September 3–4, 2026, in Tagaytay, Philippines. The workshop was organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the British Council, with representatives from the Canadian and Australian foreign missions also in attendance.

🏆 DLSU Tanglaw brings home the gold!

Congratulations to Team DLSU Tanglaw—MBA students Jan Jumine Reyes, Franchette Romjin Kim Miller, and Fernando Granada—for winning 1st Place at the BRI GAMA International Business Case Competition (BRI GAMA IBCC) 2026, held September 3-5, 2026, in Jakarta, Indonesia! 🇮🇩🎉

The BRI GAMA IBCC is an annual international business case competition organized by Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), the Faculty of Economics and Business Alumni Association of Universitas Gadjah Mada (KAFEGAMA), and the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM). This year's competition ran under the theme "Empowering MSMEs: Innovative and Sustainable Business Solutions for Global Competitiveness," challenging student teams to craft real, workable strategies for strengthening micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) around the world.

Team DLSU Tanglaw bested 65 teams from around the world, advancing through the pre-competition stage and two Business Case Challenges (BCC I and BCC II) before facing off in the Grand Finals in Jakarta.

We're incredibly proud of the team's hard work, sharp thinking, and dedication throughout the competition—huge thanks as well to their faculty adviser, Dr. Mary Margaret Que, for her guidance every step of the way.

Congratulations to the following students, who were named as the Overall Champions of ASEMO 2026!

The ASEAN Student Experiential Mobility Programme (ASEMO @ UUM 2026) is a short-term, hybrid leadership and academic mobility initiative hosted by Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) through its Centre for International Affairs and Cooperation (CIAC). Centered around the theme "Empowering ASEAN Youth Leaders: AI, Innovation & Sustainability," the program brings together university students across ASEAN member countries to build cross-border networks, develop practical leadership skills, and tackle real-world regional challenges.

The DLSU students of the team "Change Makers 2" won the ASEAN Future Leadership Excellence Award. They were qualified to compete against the top teams from all other challenge tracks, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability.

In the final stage of the challenge, the team delivered an exceptional performance, ultimately emerging as the best overall for their presentation and policy recommendations. Their success on this international platform at Universiti Utara Malaysia reflects the high caliber of Lasallian student leadership. The other Change Makers 2 team members who received the award were Fransiska Doranti, Darmianti, Ramadani Arosad, Nayla Hanum Sayyidina, and Athifah Tiara Akhsan.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is pleased to inform interested parties of the call for applications to the 2027–2028 Fulbright Advanced Research and University Lecturing Program, administered by the Philippine-American Educational Foundation (Fulbright Philippines).

The program provides Filipino academics and professionals with opportunities to undertake advanced research or university lecturing at higher education institutions, non-profit research institutes, and government institutions in the United States. Grantees may also teach courses and receive support for exchange visa processing, round-trip international airfare, monthly maintenance, professional development, books and supplies, and health and accident insurance.
