𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽.🙌🏼💫

𝗡𝗧𝗖 - 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 pridefully presents the achievements we reached, and the challenges we overcame to get where we are now. These programs and events we organized and participated in did not only teach us lessons individually but also shaped and improved the organization itself. NTCPS, with the best of their ability, served the students and community with all their passion and dedication. The mistakes we made along the way are still part of the experiences we best learned from.

From the 𝙉𝙏𝘾𝙋𝙎 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮, we would like to express our utmost gratitude for all the people that supported and acted as the organization’s anchor for this term.🫂❤️‍🩹

Today marks the 𝟭𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 that was declared back on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟮, 𝟭𝟴𝟵𝟴 in 𝗞𝗮𝘄𝗶𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲.

After the cruelty that Filipinos experienced at the hands of the Spaniards for 333 years, 128 years ago we were able to break free from their atrocities. Despite the declaration of freedom from Spain years ago, this is not the only prison that chained us from the liberty of life that we deserve. Even in today’s time, Filipinos are still fighting against the shackles of systems that oppresses them but protects the freedom of those who are in power.

𝘔𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘣𝘦 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦. So long as there are children forced to work their bones to make a living, farmers being taken advantage of, floods that keep drowning the lives and livelihoods of the people, poverty persisting, and rights being violated right before our eyes, the fight for true independence and freedom must continue. 🗣️🙌🏼

Through every color of pride, we honor courage, resilience, and the beauty of diversity that unites us all. ✊

Beyond the festivities and bright colors, Pride Month stands as a symbol of courage and progress. It reminds us of the countless voices who fought for acceptance and equal rights, paving the way for future generations to live with dignity and pride. 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 was more than just a celebration — it was a week filled with excitement, learning, creativity, and unforgettable experiences. Different programs were conducted throughout the event, bringing students together through thrilling competitions, interactive booths, engaging activities, and insightful seminars that highlighted the talents, skills, and teamwork within the department. Every event created opportunities for everyone to participate, connect with one another, and showcase their passion and dedication.

From the laughter shared during activities, Psych Week became a memorable experience for both students and organizers. The booths brought energy and fun to the celebration, while the seminars provided valuable knowledge and inspiration that students can carry beyond the event itself. Each moment reflected the unity, hard work, and spirit of the department, making the entire week meaningful and worthwhile.

As we push through this concluding phase of the academic year, may we be reminded of the efforts we exerted, and the choices we had to sacrifice in order for us to get here. Trophies, medals, and certificates are not enough to honor the person you’ve grown from the obstacles you faced this term. Although the pressure of this remaining hurdle feels like it could get the best of us, know that you are more than your doubts.

With the theme 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐇𝐀, 𝐋𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐏, 𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐘𝐀: 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚-𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠 𝐍𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧, this year’s 𝐒𝐎𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊 provided not only knowledge but also memories to grow from. Last 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟔 𝐭𝐨 𝟖, 𝐍𝐓𝐂 - 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 and 𝐍𝐓𝐂 - 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 came together to share activities and events for Laurels to venture beyond the academic challenges they were facing.

Opening that week 𝐍𝐓𝐂 - 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 greeted the morning with 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭 at the mural area, presenting the mindblowing research breakthroughs of students. Aside from that, the crowd had a graceful 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 from the 𝐍𝐓𝐂 - 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 who performed SexBomb hits and other OPM classics on mix. But Laurels couldn’t seem to get enough of the groove, they moved their bones and limbs through 𝐄𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐲𝐨 before the sunset dimmed the lights. The first day of SOAST Week concluded with physical activities and games in 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐡𝐢. These events did not only give each Laurels the avenue to have fun, but also an opportunity to connect with one another. 🤼‍♀️✨

The week became even more interesting as the second day approached with more fun activities such as the 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐁𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐁𝐒𝐈𝐓 and 𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐒 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐁𝐞𝐞, and a series of seminars including 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐝. And to end the SOAST WEEK 2026 with a bang, NTC - LibCom facilitated 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 that provided the participants impactful insights about innovations in the real-world. This event was followed by honoring the winners, as well as the committees and officers who worked hard to make this whole week possible with the 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲.🏆🤩

These three day events were not merely accomplishments, but tiles within an artistic mosaic of memories and learnings acquired through the connections we built all throughout. From here, may we cherish the relationships that we created in order for us to strengthen the 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘢𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘭. 🐉

For many individuals living with schizophrenia, the hardest part is not only the condition itself, but also the silence, misunderstanding, and judgment they often face from the world around them. What they truly need is not fear or discrimination, but patience, empathy, support, and people willing to listen without prejudice.

Awareness begins when we choose to understand rather than assume. A simple act of kindness, an open mind, or a safe space to talk can mean more than we realize to someone silently struggling. By educating ourselves and speaking openly about mental health, we help break the stigma that continues to isolate so many individuals and families affected by schizophrenia. No one should ever feel alone because of something they cannot control.

More than raising awareness, 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙪𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙟𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙧. The 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘂𝘀𝗮𝘆 (𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗦𝗮𝘆) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 has officially came to close on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. From the roaring cheers that echoed across the courts to the focused eyes fixed on every stage and competition, the spirit of TagSay burned brightly until the very end.
