A meaningful evening of reconnection and shared legacy.💛✨

Last November 29, 2025, the UST Department of Chemistry warmly welcomed its alumni for a day filled with meaningful conversations, fond memories, and renewed bonds at the Buenaventura Garcia Paredes, O.P. Building Lobby, University of Santo Tomas. The BaLiK USTe Alumni Homecoming 2025, with the theme "CHEM-bot: Kimika sa Panahon ng AI!", served as a celebration of our collective legacy.

As we look back on these moments, we are reminded of the values, traditions, and sense of belonging that continue to unite our Thomasian chemistry community—proving that no matter how far life takes us, this will always be home.

Hey there, Thomasian student chemists! 🧪👨‍🔬🧑‍🔬 Before we reach the end of the term and bid our farewells this 2025, let us first ace those exams and slip our names in the top scorer histograms.

The following days would demand extreme pressure and test our mettle academically and personally, but always remember to take some rest, stay hydrated, and put your trust in the hours you have spent in both lecture halls and the lab.

ICYMI: A Day of Discovery and Innovation! 🔬✨

Last November 28, 2025, the fourth-year students of BS Chemistry brought the magic of science to life through 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙢𝘾𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙨𝙩: 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙈𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙣 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮, a webinar crafted to help future Thomasian Chemists see how classroom concepts transform into real-world.

The session explored textile science, natural products chemistry and marine chemistry, guided by our remarkable guest speakers, 𝑴𝒓. 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝑶𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑨𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒅𝒐, 𝑹𝑪𝒉 and 𝑴𝒓. 𝑲𝒆𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑳𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒆𝒍 𝑩𝒆𝒋𝒂𝒔𝒂 respectively, who shared how their expertise and experiences shape the ever-evolving world of modern chemistry. Their stories revealed how precision, creativity, and curiosity can turn simple reactions into discoveries that feel almost enchanting.

This event didn’t just inform, it inspired. It strengthened students’ passion for the Chemistry program, encouraged deeper academic engagement, and nurtured a research-driven mindset among future Thomasian chemists eager to make their own mark in the scientific community.
