The Department of Civil Engineering proudly celebrates our third-year students as they represent both the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and the Philippines in the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗨𝗠𝗖𝘃𝗘𝗖) 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This year’s competition highlights innovation and sustainability through the design of concrete mixtures utilizing recycled aggregates for concrete bowling balls—showcasing the importance of sustainable practices in modern construction and engineering.

More than just a competition, this marks another milestone for the Department as our students become the official representatives in an international civil engineering event under an approved CHED Student Off-Campus Activity.

As they prepare to compete on the international stage, our delegates will also need the support of the entire PUPian community. Part of the competition includes online engagement activities, and we encourage everyone to support them through future liking and sharing campaigns that will be posted soon. Every reaction and share will greatly contribute to showcasing the excellence and spirit of Filipino engineering students worldwide.
