MOCK ELECTORAL COURT: IN ACTION

Justice meets leadership as Benildeans stepped into the Mock Electoral Court a simulation designed to deepen understanding of electoral processes, dispute resolution, and the importance of integrity in student elections.

Participants took on the roles of petitioners, respondents, and justices, navigating real-life inspired cases and decisions that shape fair and credible elections.

This initiative highlights that elections go beyond voting it’s also about accountability, transparency, and upholding the voice of the student body.

Democracy is not just practiced at the polls, but also in the pursuit of truth and fairness.

🔹 General Awareness (May 18–23)
Learn about the election process, your role as a voter, and engage in interactive activities like our mural event, your space to express thoughts on leadership and change.

PolPar Applications (May 18–June 6)
Planning to run? Apply and represent a political party in this year’s elections.

Filing of COC (May 23–June 13)
Officially declare your candidacy by submitting your Certificate of Candidacy and requirements.

Campaign Period (June 29–July 10)
Time to step up candidates connect, campaign, and share their platforms with the community.

MDA (July 10)
Meet the candidates and hear their advocacies in this culminating event before voting begins.

General Elections (July 13–18)
Cast your vote and choose the leaders who will represent YOU.

Proclamation (July 22)
Witness the official announcement of newly elected student leaders.

Induction (July 31)
The next set of leaders takes their oath and begins their journey of service.
