The Executive Board of Psychology Society officially concluded the academic year 2025 - 2026 with a vibrant and joyous color-themed send-off party. The officers shared one last time together with games and feasts. While laughter erupted in the room, the event also provided a formal avenue for the officers to share their reflections on their personal growth as executive leaders.
The organization concluded the event by recognizing the dedication and exceptional contributions of the executive officer throughout the term. Alongside these recognitions, special awards were presented to highlight the unique talents that directly aided the organization in fulfilling its mission.
This celebration serves as a powerful testament to the community we’ve built. It provided a space for professional relationships to evolve into lasting friendships. Leaving not only with the pride we achieved through our service but also with the bond we will carry forward to the future.

Every spark mattered. Every impact remained.
As the Psychology Society Executive Board for the school year 2025–2026, this journey became more than just fulfilling responsibilities — it became a story of service, growth, and purpose. Through our theme, “IGNITE: One Spark, Lasting Impact,” we learned that even the smallest spark can leave something meaningful behind when shared with the right people.
Throughout this journey, we were also deeply honored to celebrate meaningful recognitions during the Blue and White Affair:
🏅 Ms. Joseiah Macaraeg — Outstanding Student Organization Officer
🏅 Hinga, Ito Para Sayo — Outstanding Student Organization Activity
🏅 Kaya Initiative — Outstanding Student Organization Activity
🏅 Ms. Jade Barnachea — Best Class Representative for the 4th and 5th Year
Serving our community has been an honor, and none of this would have been possible without the people who believed in and supported us throughout the journey. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our organization moderator, Maria Larr Villarico-Aragon, for her guidance and unwavering support that helped us grow not only as leaders, but also as individuals.
As this chapter comes to an end, we hope you continue to root for PsychSoc and the future stories it has yet to tell. Above all, know that we are deeply grateful for all of you. 🩵

"Without education and liberty, which are the soil and the sun of man, no reform is possible, no measure can give the result desired."
- Jose Rizal
We, the members of Psychology Society, along with the Communication Society, Interior Design Youth Alliance, Society of Musicians and the Scholastican of Scholastica's College, Manila, stand against the reforms proposed by CHED to reduce and condense General Education subjects from the College curriculum.
In an already unstable political climate, this reform seeks to remove subjects that enriches critical and humanistic education, focusing on creating labor-ready workers rather than creating active and responsible leaders and members of a democracy.
As Scholasticans, we stand for humanistic education that aims to create agents of change for a more egalitarian society that values truth, justice, and compassion.

𝗦𝗦𝗖 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟯𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗔𝗣𝗝𝗔 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
Last April 27–28, 2026, Psychology students from St. Scholastica's College Manila proudly joined with other participants from universities nationwide for the 𝟯𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗔𝗣𝗝𝗔 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. Held under the theme "𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙨𝙮𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮: 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙍𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙨" the two-day convention was both a personal and inspiring milestone for every participant in attendance.
The students were accompanied by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱, Dean of the Graduate School and Chair of the Psychology Program, and 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗜𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗞𝘆𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻, who later served as the facilitator of the workshop entitled "𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣: 𝘼 𝘿𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝘿𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙨𝙮𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮."
The first day unfolded at the 𝗦𝗠𝗫 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, opening on an inspiring note as 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗼𝗱𝗶 𝗦𝘁𝗮. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 took the stage to deliver the keynote address — captivating the audience with a vision of psychology that extends far beyond the classroom. The energy carried into a dynamic panel discussion where 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝗶𝘅𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘀, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗲ñ𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘆, and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲 engaged participants in a compelling conversation about the discipline's evolving responsibility in a rapidly changing world. Each voice on the panel brought a distinct perspective, sparking curiosity and deeper reflection among the students.
The second day brought the participants to 𝗗𝗲 𝗟𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮, where the experience took on a more immersive character. Students stepped into specialized workshop sessions carefully chosen to match their individual interests and career paths, such spaces that encouraged them to think deeper, engage more meaningfully, and take ownership of their growth as future psychology professionals.
From inspiring keynotes to meaningful workshops, the 39th PAPJA National Convention was a powerful reminder of what psychology can offer not just as a discipline, but as a force for sustainable and humane change.
