And at last, ELSSOC successfully concluded its final event for this academic year, 𝑭𝒖𝒍𝒍 𝑪𝒊𝒓𝒄𝑬𝑳𝑺 𝒊𝒏 𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝑳𝑺𝑺𝑶𝑪 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓-𝑬𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒍𝒚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, held at the UST Engineering Conference Hall last May 8, 2026. ✨🪩

The event served as a heartfelt trip down memory lane, celebrating the program’s milestones, achievements, and unforgettable moments throughout the academic year. ELS students shared their most cherished memories and meaningful experiences.

The hall was filled with laughter, nostalgia, and even a few emotional tears as everyone looked back on a year worth remembering. And to cap off the celebration, special recognition was given to our 𝐄𝐋𝐒 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 for their hard work and invaluable contributions to the organization and the ELS community. 💙

Introducing 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐚, our 𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓 who hailed all the way from the 𝐸𝑛𝑔𝑙𝑖𝑠ℎ 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑒𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑜𝑓 𝑆𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑜 𝑇𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑠 𝐺𝑎𝑙𝑎𝑥𝑦—he is currently working on developing ACLA-PH for his PHD, a corpus based project examining the linguistic features and sociocultural functions of contemporary Philippine Gayspeak.
