Worship fills Heaven constantly. When we worship the Lord here on earth we are, in actual fact, joining with the Heavenly hosts.
“Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and all that is in them, singing: ‘To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honour and glory and power, for ever and ever!’”
Revelation 5:13.
True worship has the sound of Heaven.

Many verses in the Bible show us how Jesus’s life honours the Father in a posture of worship.
May we be guided by our great example in Jesus to live a life of worship that glorifies our Heavenly Father as well.
There are many examples in the Word of God of praising God resulting in tremendous victory over the Enemy. Praise of God is not aimed against the Devil. The focus is never the Enemy. No, the focus is always the Lord! He then brings the victory.
Read Joshua 6:1-21
God had given them His Word. The victory was already the Lord’s. The sounding of the trumpet, and the raising of the shout in unity together, was Israel’s proclamation of praise to the Lord for His victory!

We often want to control the outcome, determine the direction or be the writer of our own lives.
But Acts 3:15 reminds us that Jesus is the Author of life — He’s not merely a guide for how to live it, but the very source of it. Life originates in Him and through Him.
This perspective changes everything about how we approach the unknown.
If God is the Author, then life is not without purpose. And peace is not found in controlling every outcome — it’s found in staying close to the One who holds the pen to our story.
Even in the unknown, we can have peace knowing that the story is in His good hands.
Jesus taught us a radical truth that when we serve each other, when we are looking out for those in need, when we act in love - we are serving Him directly yet in disguise. Let us look for ways to serve and love Jesus by opening our eyes and hearts to those around us this week.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
[Matthew 25:35-40 NIV]

“One of the remarkable things about the Bible is how candidly it deals with the people it portrays it does not seek to gloss over their mistakes”
[excerpt from Passion For God’s Word: lesson 3]
So many of the characters in Scripture had shortcomings — what we as humans might label as failures. And yet God used every single one of them. Their stories weren’t disqualified by their flaws. If anything, that’s exactly where God’s faithfulness becomes most visible.
