iPeople, Inc. Chairman & CEO, Dr. Reynaldo B. Vea, presents his research findings in a talk titled “Net Zero for Philippine Shipping by 2050: A Possibility?" during a DOST-sponsored forum last February 28, 2024 in Acacia Hotel in Alabang. Dr. Vea conducted the research under a fellowship from the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), of which he is a member. The research addresses the UN’s SDG 13 on “Climate Action” and contributes to a roadmap towards a DOST-foresighted future of a “Prosperous Archipelagic Maritime Nation” dubbed as Pagtanaw 2050.

Complementing its expansion and contributing further to the country’s development and sustainability endeavors, Mapúa University inaugurated Malayan High School of Science (top left) in 2006. Located in Paco, Manila, the science high school succeeds Mapúa’s former pre-engineering high school.

Morales, bagged the championship in the 2023 Motolite Cup Endurance Challenge, a semi-annual competition for go-kart racing, held last July 16 in Valley Fair Town Center in Taytay, Rizal. Luke also holds the fastest lap time in MadKart Pangasinan, the largest indoor kart track in the Philippines. Congratulations, Luke!
