NEW ACCOUNTANCY TRACKS TO BE DISCUSSED ON AUGUST 9 PRESENTATION OF REVISIONS IN ACCOUNTANCY LAW

The last presentation by the BoA on the revisions of the Accountancy Law will be on August 9, 2016 from 3 to 5PM in Room 301 at PICPA Shaw.

"One of the recommendations to be included in the revisions of our Accountancy Law is the restructuring of the Accountancy undergraduate programs and courses leading to a two level board licensure process of Certified Accountant(CA) and the Certified Public/Professional Accountant (CPA) examinations," said BoA Chairman Joel Tan-Torres.

NOTE: ALL OF THE PROPOSED REVISIONS, INCLUDING THIS ACCOUNTANCY TRACKS, WILL APPLY ON A PROSPECTIVE BASIS AND WILL NOT COVER THOSE WHO ARE CPAs ALREADY OR HAVE TAKEN THE EXAM WHEN THESE PROVISIONS BECOME EFFECTIVE.
