𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐗 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐊𝐀𝐘 ⚜ ✝

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: From July 24 to 26, Malatean Scouts were seen having participated in the 𝐓𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, a momentous event focused on teaching the many values and principles grounded within spreading and sharing 𝐆𝐨𝐝'𝐬 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 among all of us. 🕊

Likewise, Scouting has its fair share of similarities with Catholicism. This year's theme of 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐲 had guided our fellow young scout leaders to learn how much friendship stands as a foundation to a community, especially that of a Scouting Unit. ✨

As we prepare our young scouts to lead the future, let us continue to hand our support to their growth, and to celebrate their full participation of 𝐏𝐂𝐍𝐄 𝐗𝐈𝐈! 🌟

𝐀 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐈𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨 🕊

On July 28, 2026 the Malate Catholic School Scouting Unit was honored by the visit of Mr. Ramon and Mrs. Lory Borromeo, warmly welcomed by Fr. Solomon A. Jardinero, SL. Rachel M. Atabay, SL. Philip Niño Bongcahig, Troop Leaders and School Administrators. Our Scouts had the privilege of meeting them during a special gathering at the Fr. Terence Browne, C.Ss.R. Performing Arts Hall. 🤝

As we commemorate the 63rd solemn anniversary of the 1963 plane crash, we remember the 24 courageous Filipino Boy Scouts who gave their lives on their journey to the 11th World Scout Jamboree in Greece, especially our very own MCS alumnus, Air Scout Gabriel Borromeo. May their courage, service, and sacrifice continue to inspire every Scout to live by the ideals of duty, honor, and love of country. 🌱

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Musika Kawayan and Maestro Marvin A. Quintana for rendering a special performance in honor of our distinguished visitors. Notably, several members of Musika Kawayan are Scouts themselves, exemplifying the spirit of Scouting through their talents and dedication.

𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐩 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠🎉💜

𝐘𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 24, 2026, the Grade School Scouts held their first troop meeting. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 was there to teach the young scouts the proper ways to behave while in formation, emphasizing discipline, attentiveness, and unity.

The meeting also gave the young scouts the opportunity to communicate and bond with their fellow patrol members 🤝. They elected their trusted patrol officers who will guide and lead their teams throughout their scouting journey. 🌟
