𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗚𝗔 𝗞𝗔, 𝗗𝗔𝗬!—Huge congratulations to our very own alumna, Klasmeyt Andrea Babierra (BA Communication, Batch 2016), as she joins the main cast of NWR Musicals’ upcoming production, 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙖 𝙆𝙖 𝘿𝙖𝙮! 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙗𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡. ✨🎭

Klasmeyt Andrea will be playing Iste, the younger sister of Annie. She is set to share the stage with Sam Concepcion, John Lapuz, Jackielou Blanco, KD Estrada, Anthony Rosaldo, and Atasha Muhlach, who stars as the iconic Annie Batungbakal.

Prior to this major role, she was also part of the ensemble of Newport World Resorts’ previous hit musical, 𝘽𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙨.

Bongga Ka Day! The Annie Batungbakal Musical opens this September 2026 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.

𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣: 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣—The Department of Media and Communication gathered incoming 4th-year students last Friday, May 29, at the COMM AVR for an internship orientation ahead of their deployment later this month.

Internship Adviser Ms. Jenica Villanueva and Department Chairperson Mr. Glenn Parungao mapped out pertinent procedures and shared essentials reminders for a successful internship stint. 📝
