🌟 Celebrating Compassion and Community: Our School's Participation in the CARS Feeding Program Initiative 🌟
In the spirit of compassion and community, our school is thrilled to announce our participation in the Congregation of the Augustinian Recollect Sisters and Community Feeding Program in celebration of the Feast of St. Monica and St. Augustine. This significant event is not only a tribute to the lives and legacies of these revered saints but also a heartfelt commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those around us.
The Feast of St. Monica and St. Augustine, celebrated on August 27th and August 28th, respectively, is a time to reflect on the values of faith, resilience, and love that these saints embodied. St. Monica’s unwavering devotion and St. Augustine’s profound transformation are inspirations that remind us of the power of community and the importance of supporting one another.
In honor of this special occasion, our school has joined forces with the CARS to provide catechism and meals to those in need. This feeding program is more than just a meal; it’s a symbol of our collective commitment to service and solidarity. Through this initiative, we aim to offer not only sustenance but also hope and encouragement to members of our community who are facing challenging times.
Our working students who are part of the College Department, and the AR Sisters have come together with great enthusiasm and dedication to support this cause. It’s a beautiful reminder of the impact we can have when we work together for a common purpose.
We believe that celebrating the Feast of St. Monica and St. Augustine this Month through acts of service not only honors their memory but also reinforces the values they championed. It’s about living out the principles of love, kindness, and generosity that they exemplified.
Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this project, and to those who have supported it with their time, resources, and prayers. Your efforts make a significant difference and embody the true spirit of this celebration.
Let us continue to honor the legacy of St. Monica and St. Augustine by living out their values every day and making our community a place of care and connection.

🌟 Solemnity of Saint Augustine 🌟
Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Saint Augustine of Hippo, one of the most profound and influential theologians in the history of the Church. His journey from a life of worldly pursuits to profound spiritual insight and holiness serves as a powerful reminder of the transformative power of God’s grace.
Saint Augustine's writings, including his Confessions and City of God, continue to inspire and challenge us to deepen our understanding of God and our relationship with Him. His wisdom on grace, original sin, and the nature of the Church has shaped Christian thought for centuries.
As we honor Saint Augustine today, let us reflect on his teachings and seek to apply his insights to our own lives. May his example of conversion and dedication to God encourage us to pursue holiness with renewed fervor.
Saint Augustine, pray for us!

🌟 Feast of Saint Monica 🌟
Today, we celebrate the Feast of Saint Monica, the devoted mother of Saint Augustine of Hippo. Known for her unshakeable faith and relentless prayers, Saint Monica is a beacon of hope and perseverance for all who struggle with loved ones far from the faith.
Saint Monica's life is a powerful testament to the impact of persistent prayer and unwavering love. Despite many trials and the challenges of her time, she remained steadfast in her faith, praying earnestly for the conversion of her son. Her patience and dedication eventually bore fruit, as Saint Augustine became one of the most influential Christian theologians and saints in history.
As we honor Saint Monica today, let us be inspired by her example. May we, too, find strength in prayer and hope in our own journeys and those of our loved ones. Saint Monica, pray for us!

Celebrating 300 Years of Faith and Service: Our School's Embrace of the Talangpaz Outreach Program
July 27, 2024
This year, our school – Saint Rita College Manila, Inc. has been honored with the incredible opportunity to be a part of a momentous celebration: the Launching of the 300th anniversary of the Congregation of the Augustinian Recollect Sisters in Calumpit, Bulacan. To mark this significant milestone, our school has joined forces with the Talangpaz Outreach Program, an initiative designed to further the mission and values of the Augustinian Recollect Sisters through community service, education, and spiritual growth.
A Historic Occasion
The Congregation of the Augustinian Recollect Sisters has been a beacon of faith, compassion, and educational excellence in the Philippines for three centuries. Established in 1724, the sisters have dedicated their lives to serving the underprivileged, nurturing young minds, and fostering spiritual development across the nation. Their legacy is not just a testament to their commitment but also a living, breathing example of the values we hold dear: love, service, and community.
Our Partnership with Talangpaz Outreach Program

This partnership enables our students to engage directly with the community, applying their skills and passions to real-world challenges. Through various projects and initiatives, they will contribute to the ongoing mission of the Augustinian Recollect Sisters, fostering a deeper understanding of the values of service, justice, and solidarity.
"Connecting Hearts and Minds: Parents' Orientation and PTA Election
Today, our school welcomed parents and guardians into our community for an enriching Parents' Orientation, a pivotal moment where we come together to strengthen our partnership in nurturing the growth and success of our students. With a warm embrace, we shared insights into the school's vision, mission, and the exciting educational journey ahead.
Parents gained valuable perspectives on curriculum, extracurricular activities, and the support systems in place to ensure each child's holistic development. They engaged in meaningful discussions with teachers and administrators, deepening their understanding of how they can actively support their child's academic and personal growth.
A highlight of the day was the election of our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) leadership team. Through democratic participation, passionate parents stepped forward to advocate for the collective interests of our school community. Their dedication to fostering collaboration between home and school will undoubtedly enrich the educational experience for all.
As we embark on this new academic year, let us carry forward the spirit of unity and shared commitment forged during today's events.
