S**T PHILOSOPHY:
Proverbs 4:7 declares that: "Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom and with all thy getting get understanding". It is evident from Scripture that knowledge, understanding and wisdom are precious possessions, yet apart from God and His perspective there can be no true education. S**T believes that Christian education is distinctly unique type of education because it i

s based on Scriptural principles. The practical outpouring of this belief about education results in several orientations:

1. The Bible clearly teaches that the educational process must be family oriented with parents, especially the fathers, accepting the responsibility for the education of their children. The school serve as an extension of the home, existing for the purpose of assisting parents with their duty before God (Eph.6:4).

2. A true Christian education must, as a primary emphasis focus on God and His revealed truth. The Scriptures not only provides a reference point for determining truth in academic subjects, but also provides necessary principles for living and relating while here on earth.

3. INDIVIDUAL ORIENTED. God's desire for the education of children is to focus upon the needs of the individual and relate learning experiences in such a way as to minister to the total child.

4. LIFE-VIEW ORIENTED. Christian education is training for life. There is, in fact, nothing that is outside the jurisdiction of God for it touches every sphere of life. Christian education applies Biblical principles to human relationships, to the home and family, to economic issues, to everything, so that whatever is done, will bring glory and honor to God.

S**T is conducting an Earthquake Drill starting today Oct. 15 until Friday, inside and outside the School premises. A simulated EMERGENCY to test and improve response capabilities. The drill involves phases such as alarm, performing cover, duck, hold. Evacuation, gathering in a designated area and head count, veryfying everyones presence.
