We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to V.ships.and V.Group for your invaluable partnership as training collaborators of Southern Institute of Maritime Studies,Inc. Your dedication to advancing maritime education and professional development has greatly enriched our training programs and has had a positive impact on our students.

In recognition of the importance of supporting our seafarers and their families, we highly encourage your crew to explore the insightful works authored by Rev. Martin Otto. His books provide essential guidance and support for families of seafarers, which is crucial for fostering resilience and understanding within these households.

Additionally, we believe that becoming a member of Seafam International can significantly benefit your crew through their Welfare department. This membership will not only enhance the support network available to seafarers but also provide access to resources designed to promote their well-being and that of their families.

Thank you once again for your steadfast support and collaboration. We look forward to continuing our partnership and working together to create a brighter future for our maritime community.

SIMS Manila and Bohol supports for the Day of the Seafarer celebration ❤️

On this significant occasion of the Day of the Seafarer, Southern Institute of Maritime Studies (SIMS) proudly stands in solidarity with the theme "My Harassment-Free Ship." We recognize the vital role that seafarers play in our global community, and we are committed to fostering a safe and respectful environment for all individuals at sea.

To honor this important day, SIMS is actively participating in the Flag Raising Ceremony in Manila and Bohol, organized by Seafam. We are pleased to announce that our President, Norma Blasquez, Chairman of the Board, Engr. Jorge Blasquez and Vice President for Operations Dr. Glenn Mark Blasquez, attended to represent our institution and its unwavering support for our seafarers. SIMS also invite maritime clients from Interglobal College in Lucena , PMI Colleges Manila and Bohol. SIMS Bohol staff, students, and intructors also join the flag raising in Provincial Capitol of Bohol.

Additionally, SIMS is excited to participate in the Job Fair and Symposium held at the Rizal Park Hotel, organized by MARINA. These events serve as a platform for promoting awareness and encouraging dialogue on the critical issues faced by our maritime community and Job opportunities.

Together, let us continue to advocate for a harassment-free environment on our ships and ensure that every seafarer is treated with dignity and respect.

Thank you for your continued support in making our maritime industry a safer place for all.
