Maraming salamat, Senator Loren Legarda at University of Antique, sa pagtangkilik sa galing ng Pilipino! Isang malaking karangalan ang maihatid ang mundo ng Virtual Reality sa industriya ng maritima. Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang makabagong edukasyon para sa mga susunod na henerasyon ng seafarers.

Prayoridad natin ang dekalidad na edukasyon para sa ating mga kasimanwa kaya’t inilunsad natin ang Maritime Education Program sa University of Antique – Sibalom, at pinondohan ang pagtatayo ng isang Maritime Virtual and Augmented Reality Laboratory. Layunin nitong ihanda ang mga estudyante sa mga hamon ng makabagong maritime industry, kabilang ang digitalization, automation, robotics, at maritime cyber security. Ang laboratoryong ito ay isang makabagong pasilidad na may advanced simulators at interactive modules na ginagaya ang mga tunay na sitwasyong nararanasan sa dagat. Sa pamamagitan nito, mas mapapalalim ang kaalaman at kahandaan ng mga estudyante para sa kanilang hinaharap na tungkulin sa barko.
