The road to becoming 6-Star Physicians starts here ⭐️

IDC 202 was our first taste of UPCM! During the second semester, we learned more about the specifics of medical jurisprudence and bioethics 🤓 The art of medicine does not just involve knowing your whys on becoming a doctor, but also knowing what’s right from wrong, and good from bad 🙇‍♂️

Thank you to our course coordinator, Doc De Guzman, for walking us through the art of medicine 🧡 A special thank you also to our LO Ethan for your hard work and patience 🫡

I love you, I forgive you, Thank you ❤️‍🩹

Our last module of the year gave us a sneak peek of what the future holds 🫣 Geriatrics taught us what it means to care for our patients during and beyond the later stages of life, guided by a fulfilling and healing process 🏥

We would like to thank our LOs, Abhi and Louise, and our course coordinator, Doc Mar for guiding us throughout the learning of a lifetime 💘

And just like that, Trenta have nearly finished all of their LU 3 modules 😱 After all those learnings, its time to take a well deserved break for the summer before helLU4 😴

The kids are alright! 👶

Cruising into another fresh module, Trenta took a trip down memory lane, reminiscing about their own firsts during their childhood years such as their first words, first walk, first crush, and first everything else 👩🏻‍🍼

And of course, our Pediatrics module could not be complete without a fulfilling project that put us into the shoes of the physicians who cared for us way back when we were young 🧑‍⚕️

We would like to thank our LOs, Abhi and Louise, and our course coordinator, Doc Vann, for their guidance throughout this nostalgic module 🧑‍💻

And with that, Trenta has finally finished LU- whoops, just KIDDING! We have one more module before we finally say S/P LU 3 ✅

[SALAMAT, HD 202 PSYCHIATRY MODULE]

UPCM 2030 appeared to have euphoric mood and full affect after finishing the Psych module of HD 202 😙

The Psychology module marked the beginning of the end for LU3 🤧 We learned not just how to address the mental health of our future patients but also how to take care of our own 🙇‍♂️ Our mental health is holistic and knowing more about its various dimensions can help us become more resilient and hopeful ✨

We would like to thank our course coordinator, Doc Constantine, and our LOs, Abhi and Louise, for graciously showing us the way through this module 🫶

Time to rest and take care of our physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being! 😌

Research Defended ✅

Data suggests, with statistical significance, that Trenta have completed their research module for LU 3 as they finally finished their manuscripts and have conquered the colloqium stage 🎤

What started as abstract concepts have now become extensive protocols fit for our soon-to-be 6 star physicians ⭐️

We would like to thank our LOs, Dan and CA, our course coordinator, Doc Weng, and our respective research advisers for inspiring us in our pursuit of excellence 📈

And after all that, our brains deserve a bit of unwinding and recalibration as we proceed to the next step of med school 🧮

[TAO RIN PALA 52: OVATION]

What does it take to make a great show? 🤔

It takes weeks of planning, practicing, and collaborating! 🫡 Whether it was dancing in Portico Lobby or singing in Garcia Hall, we had to juggle rehearsals with our academics 🤸‍♂️

The night of May 8 marked Trenta’s opening performance and our first time participating in the TRP Chorale Competition 💐

Trenta graced the stage with a 10-minute opening number under the subtheme “Prologue” to kick off Tao Rin Pala 52. 🕺We also performed “Puting Payaso” 🤡, a song exploring the highs and lows of pursuing medicine in the country 🩺
