🌟Art Activity Event🌟

Last June 6 (tuesday), we conducted a small art activity with the children in the Rajah Sulayman Park. Children joyfully and actively participated in the activities provided. Our group members also taught the children in some areas they find hard to do and helped them color their adorable artworks.

Thank you to all who participated in this small art activity that we have conducted. Hopefully, we would be able to conduct more activities such as these for the children, and to help and support them in any way we can.

Helping children is truly rewarding, especially when you see their bright smiles and laughter.

Living in the streets are the only option for people who are suffering from severe poverty. Without homes, they are sleeping and doing different types of street work to survive their daily needs.
This greatly affects their children, that at a young age, they are left to fend for themselves and encounter different dangers and people on the street.

How often do we see children who lives on the street? In our everyday lives we encounter them, we either ignore them or give them money when they beg for some.

There are many organizations and foundations in the Philippines that help in protecting and providing help for their needs.

Let us all make efforts to alleviate this problem by supporting our campaign, and sharing our advocacy to garner support from people or organizations that could help these children.

Knowledge is our weapon for a better future that we hope for. Let us hope for a better future for children in street situations, who were struggling to survive on the streets, and could not afford a proper education.

They learn things not in schools, but from the harsh realities of life on the streets. They encounter many difficulties that keeps them from having a peaceful life that a child should have.

In the end they were left uneducated and were neglected by the society because of their life choices and difficult situation.

Let us put an end to this cycle of life that children in street situations face and support our campaign to give hope for these children and provide help to them in any way we can.

We are a group of fine arts students from the Technological University of the Philippines, and we're currently working on a study titled: An unSEEN Crime: The Inevitable Working Conditions of Street Children in Malate Manila. An Ad Campaign for Awareness to Millennials and Gen Z

We would like to ask for your participation in a survey that will take about 10 - 15 minutes to complete.

We are looking for respondents with the following qualifications:

*16 years old and above
*Must be a resident of Manila
*Had been to Malate, Manila near Rajah Sulayman
