Today, we remember former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. on the 43rd anniversary of his assassination on August 21, 1983.

His courage and sacrifice became a significant part of the nation’s history and the Filipino people’s pursuit of democracy. More than four decades later, his legacy continues to remind us of the importance of standing for truth, freedom, and justice.

Pursuant to the directive issued by the City Government of Manila, following the recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), both onsite and online classes in the College Department are suspended on August 13, 2026, effective 12:00 PM, due to the inclement weather caused by the southwest monsoon (Habagat), while school offices will remain open.

Due to the continuous light to moderate rains, with occasional heavy downpours, brought by the enhanced southwest monsoon (Habagat), classes at all levels on Thursday, August 6, 2026, are suspended in accordance with the advisory issued by the Manila City Government.

𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙀𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙉𝙊𝙒 | The LCCian community gathered today at the statue of Venerable Mother Consuelo in solemn commemoration of her death anniversary. Students, faculty, administrators, and staff came together in prayer and reflection to honor her life, legacy, and unwavering dedication to faith, education, and service.

The gathering served as a moment of remembrance and thanksgiving, highlighting Venerable Mother Consuelo's enduring influence on the La Consolacion community. Through the commemorative program, participants reflected on her values and contributions, reaffirming the institution's commitment to carrying forward her mission of forming individuals guided by faith, compassion, and service.
