When "The First War"—"The Shadow Conflict"—ended, humanity was ready to cast aside its memories of the nightmare. The horrors of "Nocturina", the realm of the night creatures, faded into myth, whispered as stories to frighten children. But those who had fought on the frontlines knew the truth: the darkness had merely retreated, not been defeated.

The survivors of the war, led by the remaining "Protektors", stood at a crossroads. They had achieved victory, but they understood that the creatures of "Nocturina"—the "Nox Populi"—would one day return. Their decision would shape the course of history: to fade into the background and become forgotten heroes, hiding the existence of the night creatures from the world to protect mankind's fragile peace.

Thus, in secrecy, the "Protektors" laid the foundation for a hidden order that would endure through the ages—a shadow society that would defend humanity from threats they could not comprehend. They called this society "The Protektorate".
