𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 araw 𝗣𝗡𝗨𝗮𝗻, 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗽𝘂𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮 𝗶𝗻𝘆𝗼! 💙

Taos-pusong pagbati sa ating mga bagong Guidance Counselors, lalo na sa ating Top 1 na si Roenn Kyle Bangit Mangilit, at sa iba pang PNUans na nanguna sa pagsusulit!

Ang inyong tagumpay ay karangalan ng buong Inang Pamantasan at inspirasyon sa ating pamayanang PNU.

𝗣𝗡𝗨, 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗴 𝘀𝗮 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺; 𝗣𝗡𝗨𝗮𝗻, 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭.

Isang PNUan ang nanguna sa listahan ng mga natatanging nakapasa o topnotchers sa nakaraang Agosto 2026 Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination. Matagumpay na nasungkit ni Roenn Kyle Bangit Mangilit ang unang puwesto matapos makakuha ng markang 91.10%.

Bukod kay Mangilit, tatlo pang PNUans ang nakasama sa hanay ng mga nanguna. Nakamit ni Genesis Englland Mendoza Lansangan ang ikalimang puwesto bitbit ang markang 90.05%. Hindi rin nalalayo si Khent Rolance Tarrazona Tamayo na umakyat sa ikaanim na puwesto sa nakuhang 89.90%, habang nasungkit naman ni Georgia Mae Cortez Raquel ang ikasampung puwesto sa markang 89.60%.

Sa pangkalahatan, nakapagtala ang Pamantasang Normal ng Pilipinas (PNU) ng 97.78% passing rate, kung saan 44 mula sa 45 na kumuha ng pagsusulit ang matagumpay na pumasa.

Isang malaking tagumpay para sa buong pamayanang gradweyt students ng Pamantasang Normal ng Pilipinas! 🎓🎉

Lubos na nagpapasalamat ang PNU Graduate Student Council sa Lupon ng mga Rehente ng Inang Pamantasan sa pag-apruba ng PNU BOR Resolution No. U-4077, s. 2026, na nagpapalawig sa amnestiya sa naipong continuing fees para sa ating tesis at disertasyon hanggang sa Taong Panuruan 2026–2027.

Ang tagumpay na ito ay patunay na naririnig at pinahahalagahan ang boses ng bawat gradweyt student. Para sa ating mga kapwa graduate students—lalo na sa mga sandaling nahirapan, napatigil, o tila nalayo sa orihinal na landas ng pag-aaral—ang pagkakataong ito ay isang magandang bukas na pinto at paanyaya.

Hindi pa huli ang lahat. Tuloy ang laban para sa pangarap! Muli nating hawakan ang panulat, ipagpatuloy ang ating mga papel, at magkasama tayong tumawid sa pinal na layunin—ang magtapos at maglingkod.

Maraming salamat sa PNU Administration at BOR sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa kapakanan ng mga mag-aaral.

Inaprubahan ng Lupon ng mga Rehente ng Pamantasang Normal ng Pilipinas (PNU BOR) ang rebisadong patakaran na nagpapalawig sa amnestiya sa naipong continuing fees para sa tesis at disertasyon sa Termino 1, 2, at 3 ng Taong Panuruan 2026–2027.

Ang patakaran ay inaprubahan sa pamamagitan ng PNU BOR Resolution No. U-4077, s. 2026, sa ika-109 na Regular na Pagpupulong ng Lupon noong Agosto 6, 2026.

The PNU Graduate Student Council successfully convened its 2nd Regular Council Meeting today, August 15, 2026, with preparations for IGTES and IC-GRaTE 2026 at Bicol University taking center stage in the Council's discussions. The meeting brought together the Council to coordinate plans and address key matters in preparation for these upcoming academic and research engagements.

The Council likewise deliberated on various proposed GSC resolutions, including the GSC fee for submissions, project proposals, language editing and critic fees, outsourced statistician services, validation, and publication-related matters. Updates from the Graduate Program-Based Organizations and other concerns were also discussed.

As the PNU GSC continues preparations for upcoming national and international academic engagements, the Council remains committed to strengthening graduate student representation, advancing research initiatives, and ensuring responsive support for the graduate student community.

The 𝐏𝐍𝐔 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥, in collaboration with the 𝐏𝐍𝐔 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐆𝐑𝐚𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐎), successfully conducted the Creative Writing Workshop, “Recklessness and the Rockstar Poetics of Peter Solis Nery,” on August 15, 2026.

The workshop featured acclaimed Hiligaynon writer and literary artist, Mr. Peter Solis Nery, who shared his insights and experiences on creative writing, literary expression, and the importance of developing one's distinct voice.

Central to the session was the idea of being “reckless” in writing—to move beyond fear and hesitation, take creative risks, and remain open to writing what the heart wants to express. Participants were encouraged to approach writing with greater confidence and individuality, recognizing the value of creating work that carries a personal spirit and can meaningfully connect with others.

The GSC extends its appreciation to Mr. Peter Solis Nery for sharing his expertise and perspectives, and to GRaCEMO for its valuable partnership in advancing opportunities for creative and scholarly development within the PNU community.

Through initiatives such as this, the GSC continues to support spaces where graduate students and members of the academic community can learn, create, and develop their voices.

What if the things that make us hesitate are exactly the things worth writing?

For 𝐌𝐫. 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐫𝐲, being “reckless” means refusing to let fear, shame, or hesitation decide what we can create. It does not choose. It does not ask whether something is safe or comfortable. It dares to take risks.

Through “Recklessness and the Rockstar Poetics of Peter Solis Nery,” participants were invited to confront the very things that often hold writers back—to write what might feel strange, uncomfortable, or even embarrassing; to venture beyond what is expected; and to embrace the courage to be different.

The 𝐏𝐍𝐔 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥, in collaboration with the 𝐏𝐍𝐔 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐆𝐑𝐚𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐎), extends its sincere appreciation to PSN for reminding us that creativity does not always come from playing it safe.

With his presentation, “𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐫𝐲,” PSN takes us into a world where literary expression is daring, unconventional, and unapologetically alive. Open to graduate students, faculty members, alumni, and creative writing enthusiasts, this session offers an opportunity to discover new ways of finding inspiration, developing one's literary voice, and approaching the craft of creative writing.

A celebrated figure in Philippine literature, PSN is a recipient of 𝟯𝟬 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, including 𝟮𝟯 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗲. He is the author of 38 books, including a textbook on Creative Writing, and was the first Filipino author invited to the 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗷𝗮𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 in the United Arab Emirates.
