We are the Letran Debate Society (or LDS), a debate organization at Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Intramuros, Manila. As the premiere academic organization of the Colegio, we use debate as a platform to broaden the individual repertoire of all our members i.e. the understanding of the nature of politics, the perpetual pursuit of our modern sciences and its consequences to men, and the appreciation of our local and international human culture. We strive for intellectual competence and labor to become responsible members of our society, ever conscious of its humanitarian demands and always faithful to our school’s credo of DEUS, PATRIA, LETRAN.
