It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Pastor George Capaque. Pastor George was a devoted servant of the Lord, whose life and ministry touched countless hearts and souls. His unwavering faith, wisdom, and compassion were a shining example of Christ's love.

To the Capaque family, our deepest condolences and prayers are with you. May the Lord’s comfort and peace be upon you during this time of sorrow. We trust in God's promise that Pastor George is now in His eternal presence, where there is no pain or suffering, only joy and everlasting life.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." - Matthew 5:4

We pray that the Holy Spirit will surround you with His love and strength, and that you find solace in the knowledge that Pastor George is resting in the arms of our Savior. His legacy of faith and love will continue to inspire and guide us all.

We praise God for the start of the CTDI Pastoral Leadership Development Program Level 2 (PLDP 2) Visayas Cohort held at the CCT Regional office in Jaro, Iloilo City last April 17.

Our hearts are filled with joy for the 45 students, composed of CCT full-time and volunteer pastors and community servant leaders for journeying with us through the program.

We are excited about what God will do among our fellow servants in Christ. May God alone be praised!

Our hearts overflow with gratitude and reverence to our God Almighty for the successful Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony of CCT Training and Development Institute, Inc. (TDI) and Asian Theological Seminary (ATS) on April 15, 2024, at the CCT Support Office and via Zoom.

We are grateful for the presence of the following: CCT President and Founder Ate Ruth Callanta, ATS Chancellor Dr. Melchor Go and faculty members, CCT Ministers Association of the Philippines Area Pastors, CCT Convenor Kuya Froi Parado, and TDI Consultant Ate Alice Pineda, among other TDI staff.

Your presence and contribution have proven invaluable to the ministry, equipping pastors and church leaders toward effective pastoral leadership as we embark on our PLDP 2 journey this year. This gathering is a celebration of your partnership with us, as expressed by Ate Ruth, "I am excited because this is another support system for our coworkers. [CCT Group needs to identify] institutions that will provide our coworkers [in their spiritual, emotional, and relationship-building support]... [and] partnership with ATS and other theological institutions will be very critical to continue strengthening our coworkers."

Dr. Melchor also expressed his appreciation of their partnership with CCT: "We find the collaboration very critical in advancing the cost of the Gospel. We realized that we should also listen to ministries and churches on the ground so that the programs, trainings, and curriculums, among others, that we offer will be relevant to the local ministries and communities."

May the Lord continue to prosper these joint ventures—all for the glory of God!

Indeed, God's greatness was evident in the successful 19ᵗʰ CCT Training and Development Institute (TDI) Annual Membership Meeting. We are deeply grateful for the participation and enthusiasm of our dearest board of trustees, corporate members, CCT staff, CCT pastors, and partner guests who gathered, last March 20 at the CCT Support Office in Malate, Manila.

Our guest speaker, Pastor Ricardo "King" Flores, Chairman of Transform Our World Philippines, reminded us of the immense task we have been given to disciple the entire nation. With only 42,046 barangays in the Philippines, Pastor Flores emphasized that if we had 42,046 pastors working towards this goal, we could truly transform our beloved nation, the Philippines.

CTDI has embarked on a journey of impactful ministry, achieving significant milestones across various programs and strategic partnerships. Serving as training support to the CCT Group of Ministries, CTDI remained steadfast in its commitment to equip and empower individuals, pastors, church leaders, ministry leaders, missionaries, and CSLs for Kingdom service, all for the glory of God.

We offer our heartfelt gratitude to God for His abundant and sustaining grace that has enabled us to stand firm in carrying out the ministry entrusted to us. It is by His grace that we can continue serving and making a difference in the lives of those we are called to reach.
