This is due to the forecasted danger heat index level of 43°C according to the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.

Schools are advised to shift to asynchronous classes.

GUIDELINES FOR PICNIC DUGOUT

• Location: Luneta Park (grassland area)

• Date and Time: February 24, 2024/ 3:00pm

• Participation
- Kinder to Gradeschool: family
- JHS to SHS: class

• Theme Selection: Choose a theme for the picnic dugout to add a fun and creative element.

• Location and Setup:
💟 On the designated area, select a suitable picnic spot with enough space for the dugout.
💟 Arrive early to secure a good location and set up the picnic area.
💟 Cut off time of preparation: 3:30 pm.

• Picnic Essentials:
💟 Comfortable blanket or picnic mat (1.5×2 meters)
💟 No tents and umbrellas allowed
💟 Refreshing drinks and a variety of picnic-friendly snacks
💟 Themed decorations to enhance the picnic dugout
💟 Tablecloths, banners, or floral arrangements
💟 Cushions or blankets for added comfort
💟 Games or activities for added enjoyment

• Collaboration:
💟 Encourage family members to collaborate on the picnic setup.
💟 JHS and SHS classe should be composed of 5 to 7 members.
💟 Foster a sense of teamwork and shared responsibility.

• Cleanliness:
💟 Dispose of waste responsibly.
💟 Leave the picnic area as clean as or cleaner than you found it.

• Respect for Nature:
💟 Avoid damaging plants or disturbing wildlife in the picnic area.
💟 Follow any park or outdoor area rules and regulations
